I've started flying long time ago; I've tried many different schools and many different instructors. After a long, long recess I've decided to fly again and went to Warrenton in June with Aviation Adventures, my instructor Paul Guardella is the best I had so far, is nice to have a full time instructor dedicated only to fly, hey, I almost forgot, I finally soloed two weeks ago. So if you're looking for the right school, with the right staff, My recommendation is Aviation Adventures, if you go there on a weekend you might get to meet Jerry at the front desk a fellow pilot, very friendly and helpful, if you go there on Wednesday, you might see Sarah (Part time instructor), I had an hour instruction with her for a first time and it was great and fun. So my fellow flying dreamers drive out to Warrenton and give them a chance at Aviation Adventures, I did it and I don't regret it.

I recently completed a 2-ride checkout in the 2008 Cessna 172 with Garmin G1000. I flew with Paul Gardella. Everything about AVAD at KHWY is terrific! Pilot-friendly, professional, smooth-running operation. I highly recommend.

Flying into Warrenton? Wanna have some fun? The airport offers a great opportunity to see the DC area. Having arrived in our 182 - we asked Paul Gardella of Aviation Adventures to fly with us on a tour of the DC area... We spent about 1.5 hours flying in and around the SFRA and the very tough to get into FRZ - including a landing and tour of College Park Airport.. The oldest airport in the country... Wright Brothers flew there. It was a great trip... It was painless ... And we learned a lot from Paul... I highly recommend it!
