Southern Star Aviation is the FBO. They do a superb job. I go there frequently and always get superior service. They did the Annual Inspection on the company's Aero Commander- Superb Job! They have major maintenance capability and major Avionics service available in addition to the normal FBO services.

Flew into Midway (Midlothian) on 5/23/11 as an alternate due to weather. Blew the left main tire on landing. They worked for 2 hours to get my bird out of the bad weather including issuing a NOTAM. Went back next day scared to see the bill and was absolutely amazed. Less that $200 for new tire tube and all the service (they had 4 guys working for over 2 hours to get my bird indoors). Fabulous, I'll be back for sure.

Runway has been redone, very nice. Runway lights are pilot controlled and stay at 10% (really hard to see), but 5 clicks on Unicom will bring them to medium and 7 to high intensity
