Excellent cross-country stop. We stopped on July 4th, and were greeted with donuts, coffee and a large helping of southern hospitality. The FBO porch was well provisioned with rocking chairs that faced the runway. Excellent service!

What a great place!! Stopped overnight en route from Melbourne, FL (MLB) to Grand Glaize (K15). Greeted my Marion Harris who provided great service and information about the area. Really a nice place with friendly people and a great front porch, overlooking the ramp and runway!

Ran into low ceilings and haze so we stopped here. What great fortune. Talk about "Southern Hospitality". Marion Harris provided us with a courtesy car, some great suggestions for meals and a wonderful old style inn place to stay over night. We will be stopping again.

Flew our Maule in on May 24th for a short stop for fuel and rest room. Nice gentleman met me promptly at the fuel pump and helped with the ladder and fuel. A nice experience with friendly folks at this airport. We plan to stop here more often.

To the gentleman who complained about the pilot commentary on the porch at JZP, do they still have the scorecards?

Locals and staff known as the "Front Porch Gang" may greet you with a polite smile and southern hospitality...But expect that your radio calls, approach, and landing were verbally berated with rude commentary. My colleague's father witnessed this as he waited for our arrival on the front porch. The "Front Porch Gang" were obviously not aware of the significance of his presence, as they spit venomous words about our flying in a tirade. Granted, we fly by Federal recommendation as per the AIM as much as our skills allow and we are by no means perfect. However, our radio calls, pattern entry, landing, and taxi were as safe and by-the-book as could be. The experience was embarrassing for us as well as a proud father of a flight instructor. I hope I speak for everyone when I say that competitive discussion can be funny and healthy for the ego. But when it descends to the level of trash talk, you have to wonder what they are compensating for.

This is one of the best airports around. The front porch gang are always willing to help out pilots passing through.

One of the friendliest, and in my opinion, best, little airports in Georgia. No lines, reasonable prices and no hassles make this a favorite stop.

Came in on Dec.27 and the guys couldn't have been nicer. Good fuel prices and friendly service. Worth the stop if you are in the area.
