I'm based at Lawton so I have extensive experience with LaSill Aviation and their services. These guys really are amazing in their customer service even for "locals" whom are regular users. I never have to worry about them completely topping of the tanks. The line staff always sticks around after refueling to help me push the plane back into the hangar. The real gem to LaSill is their maintenance activity. During normal working hours there are several mechanics on duty and I've seen them consistently work someone in (transient) that has a maintenance problem and are far away from home. I've even seen them work on the weekends to help someone get on their way to their destination. Try to find that level of service at any other FBO! Fuel prices are good and it's easy to get in/out of Lawton. The local controllers are very easy to work even with the Restricted Airspace to the north. Many times they let me cut across the RA when the military is not active.

On Fri 22 May '09 I stopped at LaSill Aviation for fuel. After being refueled the plane wouldn't start so a mechanic was called (Pete). He immediately diagnosed the problem as a worn out starter and pulled the plane into their maintenance hangar where the dismantled bad starter was confirmed. Pete ordered a new one for next day 9 am delivery. Maintenance supervisor Chris Pittman gave my wife and I a car and recommended a hotel. The plane was ready to fly by 11:30 am on Sat. The service provided was outstanding and the maintenance crew was also outstanding. Pete even came to work on Sat, his day off to get the plane fixed. Also amazing was the very, very, low cost of the repair. I could not have had a better place to breakdown than LaSill. I could not have had a better place to breakdown than LaSill.

Came into town for Christmas. They went out of their way to accommodate our needs...Including free use of the hangar when the weather got bad (t-storms and hail during Christmas...Only in Oklahoma). The manager gave me a cell number so I could get a hold of them 24/7 if needed. Nice place to stop in.

Just had an annual done on a Cherokee. Chris and his crew did a terrific job. The battery box was badly corroded, and they rebuilt the box, repainted it, and cleaned up the corrosion that had fallen onto the inside belly of the plane. He emailed me with a list of squawks and had recommendations on fixing them, Mostly normal stuff, but I had them replace 2 of the tires, and they did the brakes as well, including packing the master cylinders after a test run that showed a significant problem. We were able to fly the plane on a BFR and IPC, but the vacuum pump died during an approach. I called Chris when we landed, and he made an appointment to come and look at the vacuum pump on SUNDAY!!! First thing Monday morning, he started the process to get us back in the air. I really appreciate all the attention to detail that Chris and his crew paid to the process of the annual. It was prompt, thorough, and the price was right!

I called up LaSill after all of the Wichita Falls area A&P's told me they were not accepting new customers or couldn't schedule my plane for two months. Chris Pittman scheduled me the very next day and kept me updated as work progressed. These guys have definitely figured out what "customer service" really means and how to take the stress out of putting your airplane in for maintenance.

Stopped for fuel at 20:15 local on a Sunday, 15 minutes past fuel cutoff time. Linemen still came out and topped off my plane. Good service here.

LaSill did it again. Arrived sat (June 2) for the weekend to visit sick relatives. These guys took care of everything. Even hangared our 172 as the forecasted weather wasn't good. It wasn't that they weren't busy, a beach and Cessna twin were also being serviced. We were treated with the same quality of service as the big boys. These folks are great..

Prior to a trip on Jan 2 to LAW, I read the posts on LaSill Aviation and thought, "nobody's that good". I was wrong, they are. They lived up to everything the prior posts said about them and then some. I had some minor mechanical issues that Chris Pittman and others dealt with expeditiously. And we're not talking corporate jet or light twin here, just basic Grumman Cheetah. Wx force extra day lay over. No problem, crew car was made available. In short, great service, fuel prices as advertised, but most of all just a great attitude from everyone I came in contact with. Will definitely return.
