From David Ikenberry on 18-Aug-2008: Great airport along the western coast of Michigan. KLDM is a well-managed airport with friendly and helpful staff. The city planners would be wise to add a self-service fueling station as similar communities/airports are now doing. It would reduce their labor costs and increase airport utilization and overall business. In general though, great job, Ludington.
From Dan Gryder on 05-Aug-2008: We stopped in to spend the night after a few touch and goes in the DC-3! What a town, great FBO and this Harbor City is aviation friendly. They put our picture on the front page of the local paper the next morning and asked for a few more fly bys on the way out. Outstanding runway very close to great food and views of the lake. Thanks!
From Jeff Pett on 06-Jul-2008: Flew in for the afternoon. No line personnel, but just parked the plane. Very quiet day, hard to tell anyone was home. Nice runway, great facility.
From A Haw on 04-Jun-2008: Bar None, the best FBO folks I've met in the country. They treat everyone with respect and great service, and the building is fantastic! Ludington michigan is a great stop, and if you are like me and need a little practice from a CFI every now and then, they have the best. Thanks guys.
From Colin Evans on 03-Jun-2008: Very friendly and prompt service. Rented an SUV for the weekend from them and it was a quick and easy process. The Chamber of Commerce is located in the same building so there are lots of pamphlets and brochures if you're looking for fun things to do.
From Andy Haw on 10-Aug-2006: The staff and crew of Mason County Aviation seems to be the most honest dependable people I know in the industry. The facilities are great, the town is good to visit, and you'll be hard pressed to find anything better. Check it out if you want an awesome lakeside stop!
From Chris Houston on 07-Nov-2005: Visited on Oct 1 in a Piper Warrior. We called the FBO in advance to check on the availability of a courtesy car. The FBO offered to hold it for us. At the FBO's recommendation, we drove into town to eat at House of Flavors. Good food, great ice cream! Ludington is always a great stop - nice airport, terrific scenery.
