My experience here was fantastic. Reasonable fuel prices, friendly service, and the FBO was clean and well maintained. I was assisted by Justin and Lonnie who helped me hangar my plane (also at a very reasonable price) over the weekend. They do not have a courtesy car but they arranged a ride into town for me, which you do not see much of anymore. GREAT people running this place.

Great customer service!! Landed after hours and Lonnie was more than happy to come back out to the airport. He hangared the plane for me and also took me to a hotel.. Thanks Lonnie!!!

We recently stopped for fuel at Sundowner and really appreciate the good service and reasonable fuel prices. We will definitely return!

Sundowner Aviation is the new FBO here, and they are trying much harder than most FBOs. Great service, with hangars available overnight for very reasonable price. Best self-service gas prices around, PLUS they fueled my plane. They were fantastic, and deserve even more stars. Also, local Hampton Inn is excellent.

Fantastic facility. Stopped yesterday 1/12/13 on way back from NY to S IL for fuel and a break. Wonderful stop. Very friendly, looking forward to returning. They filled my tanks themselves even though price was for self-serve. WOW! Thanks Leon for such great service. This is one of aviations great jewels. Can't say enough positive comments about this FBO, as you will not be disappointed here. Need a 10 star rating for this FBO.

Chose LHQ as my fuel stop because AirNav showed an eye-popping low price for 100LL. Sounded too good to be true... But it's real! Not only did I save about $80, but one of the guys came out and pumped the self-serve fuel for us! Nice facility, very friendly people, even a swing set next to the FBO for the kids to play on. We will be back!
