Arrived in a King Air for a fast turnaround. Great service and polite line crew.

Hal and crew, hats off. Fast friendly service as always keeps us stopping here to and from the Reno Races since 2002 in Jet Race #5 or #55.

From Randell Clark on 18-Jun-2011

  Nice staff. Helpful and prompt.

From Rob Hoyle on 31-May-2011

Friendly and prompt, just as I remembered from my last stop, which was over 4 years ago. LRU is a great place to rest weary legs and top off.

From Roger Brining on 04-May-2011

As always, a very friendly and helpful crew with reasonable fuel prices. We'll be back.

When Virgin Galactic asked me to land WhiteKnightTwo with SpaceShipTwo for the dedication of the brand new Spaceport America, there was just one problem -- the infrastructure was not yet in place for refueling. Dan and his crew at SWA came to the rescue and trucked the fuel out there for us. (And it was a looong truck drive!) Awesome service and we literally could not have done it without them. Thanks SWA!

Stopped in 03/04/2009. Good service, nice little restaurant.

Stopped in for gas on a long cross-country. Lineman was super helpful, polite, and professional. HOWEVER, BEWARE...The AFD reads attended 24hrs. Apparently everyone goes home now at 1900L, there were no NOTAMS regarding this new policy. We were charged $45 on top of our gas price to call the lineman out.

Southwest is the best. I fly into KLRU about 10 times a year. Service is always prompt and friendly. They never have a problem calling my ride for me while I'm inbound to the airport and the line staff is always waiting at the ramp to help tie down and take a fuel order. I've been using Southwest for 22 years and wouldn't think of parking anywhere else when visiting Las Cruces.

Great FBO. Great service. The flags that the linemen for these two FBOs have are enormous - interesting to see competition at work - and they really try to attract your attention. I walked across the tarmac to the other FBO to the diner and the food was great.

Flagman waiting as we came around the corner. Awesome courtesy car and professional service all around. I'll be back.

From Dennis Fertal on 23-Jul-2009

On Friday, July 17, 2009 after refueling at Southwest Aviation Inc. Located at KLRU, we experienced a mechanical problem, landed safely and returned to the FBO, Southwest Aviation. The staff could not have been more supportive of assisting us with our mechanical issues and spent at least two (2) hours trying to locate a qualified mechanic to assist us to no avail. Hal personally drove us to the hotel, which is thirteen miles from the FBO and picked us up Saturday morning when our mechanic arrived to repair the airplane. Hal also made arrangements to use his hangar and use of tools and equipment necessary to effect repairs. We returned home safely on Saturday evening. In my twenty (20) years of flying experience, I have never experienced such an accommodating FBO and I would highly recommend them when considering refueling or FBO needs in the Las Cruces area.

Real nice little small FBO. Very friendly service. I only walked over from the other FBO, but the guy was so nice I wanted to taxi over here. But alas, I didn’t. But he still offered to call me cabs or hotels or whatever... Very nice. I'll use this one next time!
