		A top notch country airport. I stopped in this weekend to visit a friend and if I fly back to Clinton, this will be my airport of choice. Friendly service and good fuel price.

		Stopped in for fuel on the way to and from KGKT (Gatlinburg-Pigeon Forge). Good prices and friendly! Will stop there again.

		Unable to reach Greenville due to thunderstorms so I landed in Laurens to sit it out. It was after business hours but was able to guess the typical FBO security code on the first try and got inside. Waited out the storms in air-conditioned comfort with access to clean restroom, watched a movie, and even had WiFi access to watch storms on computer. The storms wouldn't relent and eventually had someone come pick me up and just left my plane tied down. Came back 3 days later to retrieve plane; bought fuel at the self serve, offered to pay a tie down but they wouldn't hear of it and declined. Friendly folks, cheap self-serve fuel, well-lit tarmac; very nice place!

		Stopped here on my way back from Florida to Michigan in my Comanche. Not only is it cheap fuel, I put it in my top 3 as friendliest FBO in the country - and I've been to 47 of the lower 48 states in my plane. I'll definitely be back if I am anywhere near the area. Would probably even detour to stop here.

		Stopped here on our way to watch the Shuttle launch in Florida. Very nice airport. Clean facility. Friendly people. This is a good stop to stretch your legs and fill up with fuel. Self serve pump and good price.

		Just want to thank Jim and Bud for the good old Southern hospitality. I stopped at LUX on my way down to and back from FXE. Got socked in for a couple of days because of weather. Bud drove me into town to get a motel and then picked me up the next morning to get back to the airport. I wasn't going anywhere fast so he hooked me up with a local car rental outfit. Kathy, the local car rental lady delivered me a car at the airport within 30 minutes. I couldn't ask for more and surely didn't expect the level of hospitality that I received. Airport runway and fueling facilities are excellent. Fuel pricing, motel prices and car rental prices are the lowest you will see anywhere. Thanks again Jim and Bud. I will be back.

		Landed at LUX for fuel today, January 13, 2010. Jim was waiting to help me fuel the airplane. The fuel price was as advertised at $3.50. We did not need any rides, but I felt as though one would not have been difficult to get had I asked. A friendly place we will be sure to stop at again.
