Power and phone service lost during Hurricane IKE was restored to the terminal building 9/26. Power to pumps expected 9/29 or 9/30. Until power is restored to main pumps, gas is available from truck.

9/25 ... Gas available from fuel truck. Power and phones still out. Generator used to refill fuel truck from storage tank.

Update to the below comments about "freezing" of money. The system now "freezes" $300.00 of your hard earned money while it clears whatever the lesser amount of your purchase is.

A word to the wise... The self-service fuel pump at the airport is set up to freeze $250.00 through the "fill up" function. Pilots should be aware the funds frozen by the Phillips self-serve system would not be available to the pilot till the actual fuel bill is processed through the bank. In my case, I flew for an hour on SAT filling up the airplane with 8 gal @ 4.25 per/gal, $34 total ($250 frozen) and today filling up the AA-1 with 6 gal for 25.50 total ($250 frozen) for a grand total of $500.00 of my hard earn dollars tied up till the $59.50 bill clears. Keep this in mind next time you self serve at the pump! Remember; keep the greasy side down...

The runway and lighting are all in good shape. Watch for banner towers using the parallel grass. Pattern altitude for the grass is 500'. Also listen for life flight helo's coming in and out. The only thing I'd like to see installed is a VASI. There are decent sized trees off the end of the approach end of 14 and it would help a lot. They should have a NOTAM reading "Coyotes invof arpt."

Runway construction is completed; Pilot control lighting is working great. Good amount of traffic in and out. Good fuel price.

Spoke with the FBO on 03/11/06 runway completion is scheduled for 03/31/06, still no night ops until then and from what I hear it has really turned into a nice airport. I will be gald when it is finished so I can stop using Hobby!!!!

Was my home base. After construction on 14R is complete Runway 4/22 will be a taxiway and 14L will be closed leaving only 14R. You now land on the existing Taxiway. No night operations...Good Luck!
