We used Lawrenceville Airport as a fuel/stretch point on our flight to Key West. Jim is the Manager of the facility and also takes care of the Line Service. He did an excellent job; he was waiting at the fuel pump when we landed. Excellent price on fuel as well as a new facility equipped with cookies and refreshements. Just what we needed to get the next leg going, would definitely use there services again, great stop. Thanks Jim

Been almost a year since I last stopped in. Thought things would be the same. They are not. Things are even better! Same friendly folks, ultra clean terminal and the grounds look like a golf course. How they keep it this way and still have the cheapest fuel is unknown. If you stop in, say hello to Donald and Joe and help yourself to the cookies. Great place to stop and family friendly too.

Landed at this beautiful country airport for a fuel stop enroute southbound. Got there just before 5:00 pm and the office was closed. I called on 122.8 thinking someone could call an employe/attendant for me. That didn't work. Called Don, his number on the door, and he showed up in a few minutes to greet me, top off my tanks and was extremely friendly and accommodating. I wish my base airport could compete. Chocolate chip cookies and a clean bathroom? Tough to find. $4.70/gallon. I hope it stays...I'll be back!

Stopped to refuel a Saturday afternoon on way back home to Atlanta from Connecticut. Jim (the attendant) saw us taxi up to the pump and called on the radio that he'd be there shortly. He pulled up on a mower (he was trimming the turf runway) and fueled the plane for us. Facility was brand new (opened 6 months ago) and was very clean and cool. Kids enjoyed some free cookies and I enjoyed a very pleasant chat with Jim. Great fuel price and was treated warmly. Will definitely be back.

Flew down to North Carolina and had LVL as my fuel stop. Landed at 4:50 and the place was closed. I called the numbers for the FBO and the mgr and got messages on both. If you're going to advertise that you are open till 5 then be open till 5. Won't stop again, I don't care how cheap the fuel is.
Response from Jim Shiller, Airport Manager, Lawrenceville/Brunswick Municipal Airport Mr. Allen the airport suffered a power loss from Dominion Power at 3:30pm. We were not given a time frame as to when power would be restored. Neither Unicom nor fuel pump would work. I apologize that we were not there, but other than offering semi-cold drinks, there would have been nothing we could have done for you.

A great little airport to land mid-week to go diving at Lake Rawlings, one of the clearest lakes between Florida and Maine. Forget about Lake Rawlings in the weekend, because it is a zoo of student divers. The lake is 15 miles away and transportation could be a problem. If you stay at Brunswick Mineral Springs Bed & Breakfast, they will pick you up at LVL "about 1 mile away" and supply transportation to the lake for a small fee.

Very friendly staff and very helpful. Fuel only $3.95 as of this date. But, wonder if their in-ground fuel pump needs to be re-calibrated. I keep a detailed fuel log for my Cessna 182RG - and they said it took 40.8 gallons over a tach time of 2.3 hours which is over 18.0 gallons an hour. Too high for a C82R with Lycoming O-540. Maybe I made a mistake. Fuel pump meter error happened to me once before - at KILM Air Wilmington, but the other way around, in the fall. Too little fuel billed. When I get back home and checked my fuel log then, turns out the log was right, and Air Wilmington UNDER billed. I was honest and reported the mistake, as to which Air Wilmington later confirmed the Dept of Agriculture found an error in their truck's fuel gauge.... Back to LVL... Will return again if in the area. Maybe by then I will find the error in my fuel log or their gauge will be re-calibrated, if in error. New FBO building too.

We love flying into LVL! By offering the lowest price fuel on the East Coast, we will keep on coming back. Full service, with a smile, at self serve prices. Thanks, guys, for being there on a day when you might not have expected any traffic. We'll be back in a week!

They now have fuel $3.65 per gallon. New terminal building, friendly folks. Well worth the stop even if it is a little bit out of your way.

The good news; Gas is only $3.50. The bad news. They don't have none, haven't had any for 2 weeks, and don't know when they will have any.

I want to tell Joe again how much I appreciated the tools for taking my plugs out so I could clean a lead fouled plug on July 12, 2007. He also gave me a ride, and a cold bottle of water. Thanks again Joe and I will always stop there when I'm flying north and on my way back to Lake Ridge in Durham, NC..

En route from Washington, DC, area to RDU. This is a nice stop to refuel at very competitive prices, $3.50/gal 100LL, friendly service, and quiet environment. Not self-service. Note that turf strip 6/24 is temporarily closed and marked with Xs at runway ends.
