I'm not usually a big fan of Landmark, mostly because of the high ramp and "handing" fees. Was pleasantly surprised that min fuel was only 7 gallons, and overnight was waived. In addition, the staff handled (made) local reservations for overnight, and recommended, and booked, a rental car. They also provided their conference room for 5 hours of meetings. Very helpful, friendly staff.

Great FBO! They have recliners, TVs, one of those office greens to practice putting, and loaned us the very sleek looking courtesy car to get something to eat. The line guys were really cool too.

During my recent visit, the staff at Landmark went above and beyond the level of service I expected. It's not just the simple things they did - like using a fuel mat and paying special attention when fueling my airplane, shuttling me back and forth in their golf cart, or quickly providing a boost when I discovered my battery was dead; it was the pride they took in providing good service that impressed me. They even tracked down information regarding a rare Mooney Mustang for me - where does that fit in their job description? Between Seth, Hope, Misty, and the other crew, they sure made my short visit enjoyable. I'll be looking forward to my next visit!

Pros- good "Red Carpet service". I warned my children not to get used to such nice treatment! Line folks helped move our gear to a waiting car. Cons- $7.18 per gallon for 100LL? Sunday we paid $4.43 in Middlesboro KY. I understand they must pay people to staff their facility, but fear they may be steering planes away because of their prices.

I stopped in at Landmark yesterday to pick up two dogs as part of a Pilots N Paws Animal Rescue flight. The staff could not have been nicer or more attentive. Two linemen helped refuel the plane and even juggle dog crates to help me load the plane. Received a weekend discount on the fuel. Thanks Landmark!

Flew to LZU to have dinner with friends, go to a hoops game, and return to Charlotte same evening. Friendly folks, but horrific pricing. Used no services, other than to park a Cessna Skylane and walk through the door to meet friends. A $30 "LANDING FEE" is charged that might be waived if you buy their ultra inflated avgas fuel of $5.10, which is more than a 50% markup over Charlotte (EQY - $3.35) and 90% over Palatka, FL (28J - $2.64 & ZERO landing/ramp fee) where I filled up last week on the return from Sun & Fun 2009. As of this date, this FBO takes top honors for me for trying to charge the most both in terms of avgas or fees, surpassing Air Wilmington at ILM for high avgas/fees. I am thankful for places like Charlotte-Monroe Executive Airport, Palatka FL, and Pottstown, PA (N47) who charges fair parking fees for S.E. Pistons (if any) and avgas rates.
