We had an engine failure and landed at Milford. Virginia was great, gave us a ride to Cedar City to rent a car and provided a hangar for a few days to store our plane until I was able to fly in parts and a mechanic.

Couldn't get UNICOM to come in from the north, even on short final -- but once on the ground, using the supplied phone, help was on the way in 4 minutes flat to pump fuel and allow us access to the lounge and restrooms. Until the folks arrive, though, you're on your own. The grass at one corner of the beacon may grow a little taller this year, since our stop was for an unexpected "bio break" for one of our pilots :) I still like this little airport, but you might want to hold altitude high until the last few miles, and try to raise them on the radio first.

Awesome stop! Very friendly lady greeted us and fueled us with some of the cheapest gas in all of Utah. We needed to run into town for some supplies and she told us she would gladly run us in, in her truck. Very friendly and a wonderful asset to aviation. Not many services besides fuel, but they go out of their way to get the cheapest fuel in Utah and promote G.A.

Not much to look at, but a spacious ramp for the fueling operation, cheap fuel, and a quick easy stop. It'd be nice if they had some decent facility to check weather, or at least had cell phone service so I could use that.

I passed through Milford for a fuel stop at the beginning of December, and quickly got stuck by a blizzard. Virginia was tremendously helpful, arranging for a nice hotel room and a ride into town. She also helped check the runway for snow the next morning. The Oak Tree Inn is a beautiful, inexpensive motel - brand new rooms and free WiFi - with a clean 24-hour diner adjacent. The only warning is the FBO building is completely full of cigarette smoke.

Stopped for gas over 2 different days and Virginia was there to help--gas, Internet, coffee. A great visit with a very nice lady. People and airports like this are why GA flying is so great.

Stopped for overnight and fuel. Swede gave me a ride to the motel and picked me up the next day. Nice clean motel with diner next door. Great stop!

A great stop for fuel and food. We stopped there on our way from California to Kansas and enjoyed Virginia's help in fueling, driving us downtown for lunch, and overall delightful hospitality. A must place to experience!

From Eduardo Poma on 07-Jun-2008
I have stopped at Milford many times when flying from my home in Colorado to California, and back. Great place to stop. Virginia (on weekdays) and Swede (on weekends) are awesome. They'll give you a ride to town for lunch, and pick you up when you're done. They also fuel you up. I don't stop anywhere else, unless weather requires it.

From Todd Ericson on 13-Mar-2008
Outstanding fuel stop. I called ahead and Swede stayed open an extra half-hour to fuel us up. Best prices in the area - I'll certainly be stopping here on my next trip.

From Mike Brannigan on 07-Mar-2008
Milford was a great stop - warm helpful folks, a ride to town for a snack, and they even pumped the gas (which was inexpensive). I'll be back, thanks!

First stop at MLF since 1946 in a Taylorcraft L-2. Friendly service from attendant who was born in Milford! Drove us to a neat restaurant for lunch and manager of the restaurant took us back to the airport.

From David Owen on 15-Jul-2007
Great place to stop! Great fuel prices, friendly staff and very helpful. Virginia and Swede will take good care of you! Will make MLF a regular stop when traveling through.

From Doug Pham on 05-Jul-2007
Great stop. They attend the radio. Willing to come early to beat the heat. 20c discount for cash.

From Mike Hayward on 02-Jul-2007
Great airport / runway with reasonable fuel prices. An attendant helped fuel the aircraft and the bathrooms were clean and very welcome.
