Ron Lewis could not have been more helpful. We landed in a windstorm with just a call ahead to an answering machine, but he had a car to rent us, a map, and a lot of advice and information about the town. A friendly face at that juncture (dropping into a small airport outside a small town with a couple little boys with us) could make the difference between a difficult overnight stop and one that is fun. Ron was optimistic and enthusiastic about our visit. The next morning he fueled the plane without delay even though there was a big twin waiting for the pump. Don't mistake this for a big city charter jet FBO, but Ron and his crew certainly provided the service we needed and then some.

I have always gotten exceptional service from Ron Lewis and crew; it is gratifying to note that the fuel price has been changed to a more-palatable figure lately, and I recommend the people here with highest praise. An excellent stop.

Ron Lewis, airport manager, continues to provide excellent service. Put 132 gallons in my Baron just to support the place. Unlike the big FBO's he really let's you know he appreciates the business. Stop in and say hi to Ron & James.

Ron went way beyond the call of duty-- met us at 11:30pm with our rental car, gave us the overview of Marfa; helped us with a speedy departure; and was very friendly the whole time.

As part of wandering and exploring Southern Texas, New Mexico and Arizona in my RV6A, I stopped in at Marfa. Weather kept me down on the ground for three days. Ron Lewis is one heck of a credit to the general aviation world. He was eager to fuel my plane and introduce me to other homebuilders and aviation enthusiasts in and near Marfa. When high winds were forecast, Ron invited me to hangar my plane. He is very quiet, soft-spoken, and extremely unpretentious considering that he has done some really significant refurbishing of some vintage aircraft in his aviation career. Thanks a whole lot for being there Ron.

Stopped for fuel, quaint facility. Fuel prices are respectable and the staff is very friendly, overall positive experience.
