Had to make an unplanned stop at KMSL while ferrying my newly purchased Archer from Houston to Delaware. The facilities were very nice and staff was friendly. Had to wait out the weather for a while and we were given the keys to the courtesy car to go grab lunch. Fuel was a little expensive but worth it for getting free use of the courtesy car.

We landed at Muscle Shoals on an unannounced fuel stop. Ramp person was prompt and very helpful. Lisa at the front desk was very helpful and stayed after quitting time to assist our departure. The fuel price was competitive for the area. They do have self-service and after hours pilot area. The terminal building is very clean with a pilot lounge and briefing area. This would be a great place to stretch your legs and refuel. I highly recommend MSL if you are in need of some great southern hospitality on a fuel stop!

01/10/2009 20:42; We landed at night when an unusual event happened our alternator failed. We called the night number and Johnny Howard came out got us the crew car. His wife arranged for a room at the motel of my wife’s choice. These folks are the best you can find. I will make it a point to stop for fuel or just to say hello. They made a bad night turn into a good day for us. Roger and Jean 08A

Flew in to top off tanks in a large Cessna twin. Girl behind the counter could care less as she was more interested in talking to some guy about the medications she was taking. Never said hi bye or anything to us. Line guy had to park, fuel and run our credit card and we were trying to get moving as the weather was getting bad. There is cheaper fuel nearby.

Landed here after hours and after my original planned fuel stop airport was closed. Landed here to find that the self-serve was down (no NOTAM issued). Called number on the FBO door, they came out free of charge and fueled me at self-serve prices, even at 11pm. All around a good experience

My wife and I flew in over the weekend of Oct 3-5 to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Marriott Hotel and Spa on the Tennessee River. The preflight service from Lisa at the Shoals Flight Center was excellent. We were not disappointed upon our arrival as the staff bent over backwards to help us carry our luggage from the plane to the rental car they had taken care of for us. Upon our return, with entirely new faces on a Sunday morning, we got the same efficient and helpful service we had upon our arrival. A great experience and we highly recommend the use of airport and the Flight Center. We will be back.

Made an unexpected stop on July 4th due to weather. The FBO personnel went above and beyond taking care of my family. Even though the rental locations were closed for the holiday, they found us a car and lodging. This is my second good experience with this location. We enjoyed the entire quad cities area for 24 hours while waiting out the weather. Great location and great people!!

Stopped to pick up passengers. Been going there for years without ramp fee with "red carpet" service. However, this time I was informed there was a $20 ramp fee and I didn't get the "red carpet". Also, they charged my passengers $2 to park their car overnight. Apparently new management.

Stopped in today with a student on a cross-country flight from our home airport (50 miles and about 25 minutes away) when we went in the people were very friendly. When I asked if we could use the courtesy car to get some lunch, the lady at the desk asked which plane we were in. Upon answering her we were informed that the "courtesy car" was going to cost 20 bucks. She then informed me that most airports charge this 20-dollar fee as she had taken the time to research this. When we got in the car, it was on empty. Either way, we were able to opt out of the charge by purchasing about 30 dollars worth of fuel. Maybe next time we should come in, in a jet.

We flew into MSL last weekend and the service is OUTSTANDING! Reasonable fuel prices, crew car and great attitude by all. If you're going to be flying near by, check out the new FBO, as it is top shelf.

We stopped in KMSL on our way to KEYW for fuel and want to say to all that read this that you won't find any better service. The facility is nice and the folks were on the ball to get us in and out. Highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area.
