Great stopover. Easy to use self-service pump. Fairly good prices for the area. There are usually a few local folks at the airport who are more than happy to help out if you need a push back from the Pumps. (C-421's are just too heavy to push by yourself). Art Jones has been a good friend and helpful emergency mechanic for the many years we have been flying into Monte. Just your good ol small "home-town" airport. Great people. Thanks!

What a great San Luis Valley airstrip! Flew in for a long weekend in mid September. Parked the plane for a few days without problem, 24/7 fuel pump was very handy for my 5:30am departure. I will definitely be back!!!

100LL pump is back in service. New repairs have the pump working better than ever.

Ramp will under construction July 17 though August 30 24-hour pump will be down part of that time. Fuel will be available during operating hours.

Main ramp overhaul is scheduled to start late this July and extend into August. While the repairs are underway, fuel and parking may not be available. It would be wise to call ahead. I will post when repairs are completed.
