I didn't get to utilize the facilities of Crownair when I visited them more than a week ago. It was past 9pm so I had to go self-service at the fuel station beside Crownair. Mike, from Crownair was working overtime at the time. He assisted me at the fueling station and gave my friend and me a lift to a nearby fast-food restaurant to get some dinner. Without his help, I would have had a long cross country back home with an empty stomach! :) Appreciate it!

I fly my boss in every weekend and we always come to Crown. These guys provide the best service on the field and always accommodate any request I have. Our cars are always waiting for us and I usually have no less than 2 linemen helping me unload the plane and get my passengers on their way. Rob, Greg, Erik, the Mikes and the rest of the crew are always professional and go out of their way to make my job easier. Try them out, you won't be disappointed.

Landed and could not raise anyone on the radio. After 2 phone calls and 20 mins someone finally showed up. Same story on departure. Had to go looking for the airplane and never did find anyone.

I called in, and asked if they'd have a rental car available. They didn't even have my name. I showed up late, after closing, and had no hope. They waited...And I'm grateful!

These guys are awesome. I used to get my fuel at Gibbs but finally switched. Charter operators, this is where to go...

Crownair has been a major part of our aviation lives since 1987. Over those years one of the things we have always said is that Crownair is the one part of our life that always works. Our airplane is always ready for every trip. We have never been inconvenience or delayed for a trip. Now if we could get the rest of our lives to work this well.

Flew my Mooney in the middle of the day. While idling outside the shack, had to use my cell phone to call and ask where to park. Not a big deal for me. The ramp is spacious, right next to the terminal. I stayed for half a day, and there were no fees. I'm not sure if there are overnight fees. Would go again.

This place is good, decent priced SS fuel for 100LL and takes care of the O2 with no problem. It is a good stop in San Diego area

Crownair has always shown me the professionalism, knowledge, and attention to detail that an owner/pilot would hope for in an FBO and maintenance center. Their line staff is courteous and prompt, their management is dedicated and communicative, and their mechanics have never let me down. I am grateful that I can keep my plane on a field with an organization such as Crownair - it makes me feel safe and secure knowing they are there to support my Cirrus.

We arrived on a Saturday and the Line Service was excellent. I had spoken to Jason the day earlier to inquire about taxi service. We did not have a chance to call prior to our landing to request they call the taxi but were pleasantly surprised when he announced he call a taxi (town car service) for us when he saw we were inbound and they would be there in minutes. Yes, the "FBO" is a shack with old and minimal facilities. If you want somewhat nicer bathrooms, you can walk to the terminal building about 100 feet away. For Air BP fuel, economical pricing and convenience to San Diego, I would recommend Response from Greg Scott, Asst. Mgr, Crownair Thank you for taking the time from your busy schedule to acknowledge and comment on the services you receive from Crownair. While we strive to provide our customers with world class service, we do not always hear how things are going. Since reading your comment, we are proud to say we have remodeled our bathrooms and are working on long term plans to improve our facilities. We appreciate your comments and thank you for your business.

I am the owner of Coast Flight Training, we manage 8 Cirrus aircraft and send all our maintenance to CrownAir. The current management of maintenance is world class! They have a new director of maintenance and maintenance manager that has made my job of managing the planes so much simpler. They are responsive, timely, and most importantly they are producing a safe product. Also to note: the line service is something that MYF has not seen in years! Yesterday we had a wind storm that grabbed 4 planes on the ramp (not tied down) that were dragged 10-15' from the parking spot! We scrambled to hold the planes down as the CrownAir line guys arrived immediately after our call. Rain was blowing sideways, and in a timely matter we were able to get the planes in Crown's large hangar. A lot of money was saved by the response time. These guys are the real deal! Thank you from all the owners on the ramp!

I tried to confirm a rental car I ordered. No answer. I tried to call before I departed. No answer. Doors were locked upon my return. The service was very poor. At one point I thought my plane was stranded. I finally gained access through operations. The line shack is just that.. a shack. The bathrooms are disgusting. This is the worst FBO in 45 years of flying. This is such a well located airport in such a beautiful city. It's a shame

Good news - bad news. Good news was I had an alternator failure and they replaced it quickly and effectively. I was out the door in just a few hours. The bad news is the line guy doesn't care about his job, and was pretty useless.

Cannot recommend this FBO. When we came in they offered no assistance on where to park. Also, the bathrooms are awful! The rest of the facilities aren't much better. Will definitely try Gibbs next time.
