I have not yet had the opportunity to fly into Osceola but can attest to the caring and character of the FBO manager (Richard Johnson). Two days ago we were faced with the sad situation of trying to arrange transportation (in a hurry) for a young man to see his dying sister one last time. With KOEO being the nearest airport, I had asked the young man to be there the following day and we would get him to Arkansas (not knowing if we would make the flight ourselves or arrange other transportation). I called Dick at home and asked for assistance. I informed him that if he could help us find the kid transportation to Minneapolis we could arrange a commercial flight and get him home quicker. Dick did not hesitate to assure me it was a done deal and it was. Thanks Dick.

This airport is very friendly and clean new 5, 000' runway and lighting system, new taxi way waiting for pavement this spring. Courtesy car key in the mail box in the briefing room. Good SS Fuel pump, reasonable price. The FBO operator will be there to meet you and help with what ever you need like most smaller airports its best to call in advance.
