Stopped in here for fuel with the family on a loooong cross country (OR - IA - MN - MT - OR). Used the user friendly self serve 100LL. It is the only airport I've come across that has a porta-potty next to the self serve tanks. BRILLIANT! Why don't more people do this. I'm always having to duck behind the large fuel holding tanks to "take care of business"! It was also enjoyable to see the 3-4 prop-jet ag planes zooming around and showing off for some local folks.

Fairly sleepy little place. Nice enough though. The FBO offices are clean and neat. There is a computer with Internet access so you can pick up weather. Not much going on here.

Ramp area repaved and self-service facility updated. Small terminal clean and nice, flight planning computer and a courtesy car available to go for lunch.

We stopped on Sunday, July 29, 2007 with two airplanes returning from Oshkosh for fuel and hoping to eat. There was self-service fuel, but price seemed expensive even with the surge in fuel prices. The FBO was locked up and we couldn't find a courtesy car. I can fully understand the FBO not being able to have an attendant on Sundays with no local flying of the 54-based aircraft. But we hoped to see a sign concerning whether there was a courtesy car or not. Many towns provide a car independent of the FBO. During our one hour stay six transient aircraft came in. Four purchased self-service fuel (hundreds of dollars worth), one parked and had a local ride, and the sixth called the manager out (at a posted extra charge!) for jet fuel. This was a beautiful airport but not the place to stop on a Sunday.
