Mountain Valley Aviation

No, it isn't a premier ski resort lodge. However, Mountain Valley Aviation is your gateway to the "Best Snow on Earth." This incomparable FBO lies at the base of the Wasatch Mountains, only five air miles from the slopes of Sun Valley Snowbasin Resort, world renown site of the 2002 Winter Olympics. Ski pristine powder in less than 25 minutes from touchdown! The historic village of Ogden, with its beautiful hotels, shops and restaurants is less than 5 minutes away. Downtown Salt Lake City is only a 30 minute drive and the Park City area is a scenic, all-freeway, trip of 45 minutes.

The excitement begins the moment you and your guests arrive at our new, highly stylized executive terminal, with its warm resort atmosphere.

Nice looking facility and service was excellent. Down side is Ogden is now a TSA airport meaning pilots have to be escorted to and from their airplanes. Once inside the FBO and you want to go back to your airplane the doors are all locked. Having to wait for someone to take you back out to your plane is a pain especially if they are short handed. None of the FBOs are happy about this. Certainly it drives some customers away. If I have to go there again I would use this FBO.

I flew into Mountain Valley on 8/14 with a helicopter. We were not able to get anybody to answer the radio but a line tech came out to the helicopter before we even had the helicopter shut down and apologized for not answering the radio. The fuel truck was at the aircraft within minutes and had us fueled up in no time. Thanks for the great service Mountain Valley, I will be back.
