Stopped there overnight on way to Oshkosh. First rate facility and friendly, efficient service. Our rental car was brought out to our plane for us. Line service was really helpful. A+

Through some mix-up of dates and bad weather, I was stuck in KC overnight. The staff went far beyond their way to make me comfortable and help me setup accommodations along with a courtesy car. Very friendly and nice setup. Great job and thanks.

Self-service fuel prices are outrageous. When fuel prices go up, their prices go up. But when the prices go back down, they stay up. Go to nearby Miami County (K81) for much cheaper fuel. KCAC $4.19/gal, Miami County $3.24/gal.

According to Tom Conley Director of Maintenance at KCAC they will not do maintenance on aircraft that are older than 18 years.
Response from Tony Mateer, Director of Operations, Kansas City Aviation Center (KCAC) KCAC will continue as always to support transient pilots to the Kansas City area during times of mechanical or avionics problems regardless of the year of your aircraft. The focus as always, is in providing the best in customer service to our clients. Feel free to call me with any questions regarding maintenance on older aircraft.

Aircraft 18+ years old? NO REPAIR OF ANY TYPE I hangar with KCAC. Nice facility & folks, but as of Jan 1 2007 they won't even change oil or a nav light- no service work at all- even avionics- on an older aircraft. You have to go to the east side of the field to Air Associates for that. Outrageous!

I made an overnight stop here on a long cross-country in a Citabria. KCAC is an upscale FBO but they treated me like one of the big boys. They recommended staying at the Holiday Inn which has shuttle service and that worked out great. The self-service fuel was at a pretty good price for a towered-airport and there was no tie-down fee. Superb facility. Highly recommended.

Good service, nice facilities, friendly people! Self-serve fuel rates are some of the best in the area, and my one night's tie-down was waived even with self-serve fuel. And did I mention the friendly people? They were able to get me a rental car on short notice and lived up to the expectations I had after reading all the good comments here. Nice job KCAC!

KCAC will go out of their way to make you satisfied. I am typing this on their computer that they let me use. Staff is extremely nice and absolutely a hoot to be around. Lineman was outside before I cleared the active. I cannot express how impressed I am. I am definitely coming back to KCAC. A definite A+ Well done guys!

KCAC is there to meet all your needs. Some of the best service that I have received at a FBO. I will make this a regular stop for business and pleasure trips when the area.

Great operation with nice people. This visit I needed to use the maintenance department. KCAC's maintenance dept is way larger than their competition across the field, whose mechanic was too busy to return my call. KCAC had the vacuum pump I needed in stock. It was kind of pricey but the labor rates were reasonable. The self serve pumps were down so they fueled me from the truck at self serve prices.

This is a great FBO, walked in the door and was treated like royalty. The first question was, have you been here before, my response was no, first time. At that the woman behind the counter got out some baseball caps and asked me which color did I want, her gift to me. THEN, when I went to pay for fuel she asked if I was a member of AOPA, when I showed her my card she gave me a 7 1/2 cent discount on fuel that was already at a price lower than most FBO's. These people know how to make you feel at home. As you can tell, I would recommend this FBO to anyone traveling to Kansas City.

Stopped there Friday evening in mid-Sept and was excellent. Lady at the desk hooked me up in a crew car in no time. Fuel price was decent and they had me parked in front of a Pilatus. Tower guys were excellent as well.

I made a last minute flight in my C182T from KDTO/KSLR in the Dallas area to KOJC to take my sister and brother-in-law to pick up a new truck at a local Olathe dealership. The FBO had excellent service and the terminal was nice and comfortable which was very welcome after a 3hr flight. I will certainly use them again next time I'm in the Kansas City area.

Went to OJC to get gas. Was treated like I had arrived in a Gulfstream when in fact I arrived in a 1949 Piper ragwing. Everyone was ready to offer assistance from self service fueling to tiedown and getting a motel and transportation. One employee on a golf cart came by and said he would keep an eye on my airplane overnite and if weather came in he would put it in the hangar. This is a geat stop with great service.
