We scheduled a car through Avis and Flightline, We arrived later than planned but the car was waiting for us and the FBO was great. When we returned the next day the plane was topped off per our request and ready to go. Great folks, friendly and very accommodating. However, coming in late at night, they need some better signage and lights on the FBO.

An excellent choice when visiting this airport. Honestly, from the outside, it doesn't look like the great place it is. As I taxied up I thought I had made a mistake, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. We had great service, a friendly knowledgable staff, and the interior is very nice. Controllers are helpful and friendly, but this is very busy airspace, so bring your "A" game. I was flying a Malibu.

These folks are great! They really appreciate your business. Called ahead and let then know I was coming and to request a rental car. When we arrived the car was running at the plane ready to go. Very smooth running FBO and really nice people. Thank you.

Picked OPF Flightline to leave my Cessna 310 at for a week. Very friendly staff. Rental car was at the plane when I parked. Fuel was reasonable for big city airport. Topped with 30 gallons. No ramp fee. $20.00 per night to park. Was the best deal I found in the MIA area to leave the airplane and get to the ship.

The greatest staff I have found at a FBO in a long time. One of the greatest pleasures in private aviation is dealing with polite staff at FBO's (not the normal airline personal) but I must say without a doubt Opa-Locka Flightline is one of the best. After what I considered a good landing but my plane didn't (collapsed gear) I felt the staff at this FBO were family. The service did not stop the day of the incident but continues even today as Tony Robinson and Mike Adkins are both helping me with logistics to repairing my plane. These guys deserve your business, they will always have mine.

Extremely nice people on line service and front desk. I called a few days ahead to let them know I would be coming in right at closing time - 11pm and both people were there to help with getting the plane tied down and get me going in a rental car. The only complaint was what they charged me for 20W-50 aviation oil. The price started at a staggering $14/quart and after protest and quite a bit of waiting around was reduced to $10/quart. At that point I needed to leave but needed the oil. I hope someone there will check into this and get the pricing right. Yikes. Otherwise a great stop. Consistently good service.

We arrived quite late one evening on a Merlin III. 2 Tahoe’s were waiting to take us all to our different hotels. I didn't have a hotel booked and so I was taken to a couple of different hotels to find a room. They couldn't have been more helpful if they had tried. Not sure when I will be back in Miami but Flightline will be where the plane will go.

Arrived from Key West for the International Boat Show. They provided a great service, the line personnel met us at our plane with our rental car and with the AC on. Prices were very reasonable and the FBO was a great facility, clean and provided everything we needed. Would definitely use them again in the future; best service on the field without a doubt.

I was just there for two nights and was charged a $150 ramp fee. This may have been a special event fee (BCS title game) I didn't get an explanation at the desk. Check before you go. The convenience of Executive might be worth the extra buck a gallon.

Clean, convenient FBO, but make sure you clarify the fees with these folks. In phone calls and in-person discussions after arriving yesterday, staff made clear fees were waived with 10 gallon fuel purchase. So we asked for 20 gallons of fuel. When we arrived for departure today, we found there was a $150 fee charged to our card. Staff said it was due to the BCS football game. After discussion, the staff offered to lower the fee to the 'usual' $25 fee despite the fact we took on fuel. I'm still a little confused about the fee policy (it is either none w/fuel, $25 or $150 when there's a major event in the area), but we paid and left rather than hang around and pick the nit.

A fabulous, fancy, full service FBO: pilot lounge and weather area, free coffee, several TVs, couches, etc. And the staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly. Overnight parking is a bit expensive ($20/night), especially if you're staying for several nights. One night waived with fuel. If you're being picked up by someone, brief them CAREFULLY about how to find the FBO at the airport -- it's very tricky to find.

Great FBO to fly into. Tony let us use a courtesy car to take our passengers to a downtown location. Spotless bathrooms and good fuel prices and friendly staff. A little hard to find on the field but worth the search. It’s located next to the Customs building. Thanks again Tony. Greg Gillis N4213F

UPDATE ON OPA-LOCKA FLIGHTLINE. Red carpet treatment is still the rule at Flightline, as well as fuel still priced below other FBOs at OPF. I was greeted promptly by a lineman and the front desk was very cordial. Received a very nice crew car to run an errand. Still no ramp or landing fees at this FBO! Last time I was here over a year ago, the FBO was undergoing some inside remodeling, but now it's finished and it looks great! The exterior is modest looking compared to some high-end facilities, but who needs expensive architectural amenities that help raise the price of fuel? It is actually located in a great spot -- between the tower and US Customs near the midfield turnoff of runway 9L. Tony has the usual amenities, such as computer weather and rental cars. I didn't see the free sodas and pastry this time, but they may have been there. Opa Locka Executive is just west of North Miami's 135th St. So; it is very convenient to the north beaches and other northern areas.

The line crew was very attentive and gave us parking directions immediately. The building is very nice on the inside, and the bathroom was in impeccable condition!! The girl on the front desk was quite another story, unfortunately. Upon requesting the courtesy car she snapped that she needed my driver's license to make a copy. She then accused me of fraud because in her opinion my signature was incorrect. My friend and copilot suggested we go to the other FBO on the field, which she was indifferent to, barking that she would have to charge us a ramp fee in that case. Fortunately, the person in charge, Anthony Robinson, was a lot different. He swiftly resolved the problem by offering us the car and a waiver for the ramp fee. The owner/partner is definitely interested in making the FBO a favorable experience and listens! I just wish all FBO owners would be so concerned and involved. If we come back there, we hope to find the desk personnel as friendly as Anthony was!

Fantastic FBO. Best on the Field. Flew our TBM850 in to take my son back to college. Service great. Helped us in everyway possible with car, directions, water etc. Newly renovated. Flew the company Cheyenne into OPF on 28 April 2008 and went directly to Flightline. This was a return visit and their personnel handled our requests promptly and courteously. Anthony Robinson took care of fueling the aircraft and having it pulled up front for departure. A great stop in the Miami area with fuel prices way below average for the area.

Flew in to Flightline back-to-back weekends on 3/28 & 4/4/08 in my 182T. I like this place at OPF because it is a nice compromise between the 'bare-bones' fuel farm at SFAI & the full-service jet-crowd at Miami Executive Aviation. The current FBO building is newly renovated and adequate, and I also see that they are planning a brand-new building, as well. The staff is friendly and tries to be helpful, however the ramp is always a bit cramped, but is okay when you do finally get parked. I did notice that they have now implemented a "Ramp Fee" of $15.00 and also charge an "Overnight Fee" of $20.00/night (piston-single), which they only waive one night of, with a fuel buy. I hate to get hit for both a "Ramp Fee" and an "Overnight Fee" when you buy fuel, though. That kinda removes this FBO from the "value" category and moves it into the "full-service/pricing" one. I might start ducking into SFAI if I'm just in for a day or so- cheaper fuel and no nickel & diming.

Flew into OPF instead of MIA (as always) and was greeted nicely by the lineman at Flightline. Although my car reservation was not on record, I was provided a vehicle quickly and onsite. We were refueled and ready to go when I returned a couple of hours later. The $15.00 ramp fee was new, but the facility is being built and is nice. Great alternative to the other large facility on the field, which I have had, issues with in the past. Glad to have Flightline available to us. Also, no food at the airport, but I found a great sandwich shop just across 135th street called Romo's Pizza. Great Cuban sandwich, walk-up service and quick. Phone number is (305) 722-0272.

I used Flightline for a weekend trip to South Beach. The line guys are top notch. Service was great. I didn't like that they charged me a $15 ramp fee when I bought a couple hundred dollars worth of gas. Kinda nickel and dime to me as I only was there 1 night. Cab ride to South Beach was 16 minutes and cost $50.00. Probably still cheaper than landing at MIA.

I used this FBO first week of January. You can get a Hertz car here, and the location is very convenient. The font desk staff was adequate, but perhaps a bit aloof. The line staff was excellent, and very accurate. I found the fuel price to be reasonable for the service. I only bought about 60 gallons, and they charged no parking for two days. I just made my third trip to OPF in the last month, and tried Flightline all three times. What an amazing group of folks! They really live up to their slogan, Service Beyond Expectations. From Eric and Linnette, two of the owners, the front desk gals, to the line guys - everyone was anxious to meet our needs and accommodate us. Rental cars were quuick and easy, driven to the plane to greet us, loaded by the line guys - just amazing. They have a nice new facility, the whole team entertained my 3 year old during a rain delay, and my wife has now forbidden me to fly to any of the "self serv" FBOs at OPF or HWO. It is Flightline or nothing. You CANNOT go wrong by visiting here, and I will tell anyone and everyone I can reach that this is THE place to go in Miami!

Stopped at Opa-Locka Fightline recently on a trip to/from the Turks and Caicos Islands. The guys and gals there are the greatest! They helped with life raft rental and gave us a quick turn on the way out. On the way back, offered the crew car for a local trip for lunch. All this for an old Aztec driver. My Father and Sister live in Miami, we get to make the pilgrimage often. We have tried many different FBOs. We have used classy and expensive jet stops, as well as fuel and tie down your plane, call for your own rental car, economy FBOs. Last week we visited Flightline, not the lowest price fuel, but the AirNav comments looked good, and the phone conversation was very professional. The rental car pulled up as we were getting out of the plane the lineman helped with the bags. I secured the plane and left it for the lineman to tow and tie down. When we left, three days later, we were able to drive the rental car to the plane. As promised, no ramp or parking charges on the bill! The slightly higher fuel price was well worth the time saving service. The trailer mentioned in previous posts is gone. Flightline has it all, fair prices, excellent service and a great facility. If you need something ask, the staff will go the extra distance to make your trip effortless and enjoyable.

Very friendly and helpful staff, only they forgot to mention that they were out of avgas when I called in my fuel order on the day of departure. I taxied across to Miami Executive Aviation, where we were treated very cordially and they were able to fuel our Baron. It's frustrating when you have to know which questions to ask...Like "do you have fuel?” The lowest price with no availability is of no value at all.

We had an exceptional experience with these folks. It is obvious that the owners and staff work very hard to make everything almost effortless. We arrived at OPF to depart on a cruise and Flightline made arrangements not only for complimentary transportation to our hotel that night, but also for transportation to/from the Miami cruise port (at a very reasonable fee). Local handling and fueling of the aircraft was very prompt and courteous. The professionalism is evident and very much appreciated. By far, one of the best FBO experiences in a major metropolitan area.

Outstanding service! Flew in to OPF from Dayton, OH for spring break and the service was excellent. We arrived at about 6pm and before I had everything shut down the red carpet was rolling. Linemen grabbed our bags and they even drove us to our hotel and back to the airport several times (saving us a hefty taxi charge). I recently took a short 3-day trip to Miami in a PA46 and decided to use Opa-Locka Flightline because of their fuel prices. The service I received from the second I pulled up to the ramp was second to none. Every person had a huge smile and was very helpful. If you're going to Miami, Opa Locka Executive Airport is a great place to stop especially if you visit the FBO, "Opa Locka Flightline." Tony, one of the partners at Opa Locka Flightline, gave us the red carpet treatment, while fueling well below prices ($1+/gal) for Avgas and Jet found at the other expensive FBOs present at this airport. No ramp or landing fees at this FBO! Tony gave us prompt, personal attention -- tying down the plane, having a courtesy car waiting for us, and taxiing us to our plane in his Lincoln on our return. These guys are real pros! This is the best customer service experience that I have had at any FBO in months. I flew in with my Mooney and they treated me like a G5 taking on 1000 gallons of fuel. They allowed me use of their crew car to go to MIA to drop my wife off for an international flight. Ed (one of the owners) even loaded the luggage into the crew car for us! When I tried to pay something they told me that they did not charge a landing fee and the use of the car was free as well. They also have a nice pilot lounge with cold drinks (also complementary).
