I called to inquire about fees to come for the day. Neither of the two people I spoke to knew what a Piper Archer was (so much for your "experienced staff" Rectrix). On hindsight, it's understandable, as Rectrix clearly is not interested in light GA customers. After putting me on hold to determine what a PA28 was, I was quoted the following: No landing fee; $12.95 for parking, $7.00 "facility fee, " $7.50 for Massport (Why does Massport hate GA?) And a $33.38 handling fee, which is waived with the purchase of 10 gallons of $7.00/gallon 100LL. I guess if you're Rectrix and your objective is to build a shiny 45, 000 sq. Ft. Facility this is what you need to charge; I'm just not interested in helping you pay for it. If you wonder why GA is struggling, Rectrix and Massport are part of the problem.

Now owned by Ross Aviation. I have been flying into Worcester for the last 4 years. Usually I fly in for work and stay an hour or two. They have never charged me a ramp or parking fee. On my last flight in, I discovered that Ross Aviation bought Rectrix. I also discovered that they are now charging everyone, regardless of weight or number of engines, or how much time they stay a healthy amount of fees which total on my estimation almost $50. This applies to aircraft for which the Worcester airport does not even charge a landing fee. Unfortunately, this means that I will not be flying into Worcester for these frequent short flights as the financial balance was just tipped against doing so. Just want all to be aware.

Stopped in for fuel and to have breakfast with family. Easy access in and out. Professional, helpful tower staff. Fantastic service by Rectrix. We'll be back.

Response from Kevin Bradley, VP of Operations, Rectrix Aerodrome Centers, Inc.
Mr. Roy. Thank you for the kind comment and I'm glad you enjoyed your visit. Both Rectrix and the entire Worcester Airport community pride itself on our ability to work together with the goal of providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our shared guests.

The usual over-the-top Rectrix decor, but on a smaller scale than KBED. Visited today and one of the line guys was a Mooney pilot. Friendly staff. Jet-grade welcome for a Cirrus SR20. Standard ramp fee is a reasonable $30 (take it back out of them in free coffee, seltzer, and snacks!), waived with purchase of 10 gallons.

Have been in twice this year in a light jet. Be advised there is no real crew car despite their claims. First time it was being used by the line crew to shuttle themselves to terminal. Now it does not even have a current tag. Otherwise it was an average experience at best.

Response from Ashley Watts, President, Rectrix Aerodrome Centers, Inc.
Mr. Moran, I apologize about your experience at our ORH location. Unfortunately, the rental car agency that supplies the courtesy car has been unable to provide the current registration. We are patiently awaiting that or a replacement vehicle, which have been requested. I am confident that these issues will be resolved very soon and I welcome you to contact me directly to discuss further. Thank you,
