The folks at Coos Aviation were absolutely wonderful! They had great prices and loaned us a car to head into town for lunch. Unfortunately, long after your visit, the Coos County Airport District will send you a bill for landing at this airport. We got billed $25 for one landing. Getting this kind of bill in the mail is a hassle and I try to avoid airports that impose user fees. The airport receives state and federal money funding through fuel taxes so charging additional user fees is unacceptable (IMHO.) I compute that we paid about $50 in fuel taxes for our fill up plus half that much again for the privilege of landing to buy the fuel. As much as I liked the folks at Coos Bay Aviation I have to recommend that you don't visit Coos Bay until they change their policy on user fees.

This is my favorite FBO at any airport I fly to. Every time I have flown in, in my little Cessna Cutlass, there is always a ground guide to meet me. They help (insist?) on carrying my luggage. Fuel prices are very good. Cookies are fresh. Other FBOs should use Coos Aviation as an example of how to do business!!!!

We flew into North Bend in a Citation. The staff at Coos Aviation was great. They had rental cars pulled out and helped us to load luggage into cars for the passengers. They gave us several ideas on what to do while we stayed a few days. They offered to get us discounted rooms and discounts on ATV rentals. The sand dunes are very close and really fun. The fuel prices were much lower than anywhere else we have visited in several months. The service was excellent, and the facilities are very good. I'd highly recommend Coos Aviation if you decide to land at KOTH.

Wonderful, cheerful helpful service. I overnighted at OTH and left my C-210 at Coos Aviation because the service was so good last time. This time it was even better, we were offered (and we accepted) an overnight courtesy car, without even asking for one. I can't say enough about how good these guys treated us. Fuel prices are pretty good as well. I think we paid about $3.65 for 100LL

Stopped in Dec 15th, 2008, great service, Line crew were listening to the radio and were all ready for me by the time I taxied in. Let me use their crew van for the night and arranged very economical hangar as well. Facility was very well maintained and clean, staff very friendly and helpful. All went over and above in all respects.

Sorry, I did not think to log this sooner. In September '08, we had 3 aircraft from Alabama make a 2-week tour of the country. Although not planned, we had an overnight at Coos Aviation. Winds were 25 to 35 and for us southerners it was a bit cold. Everyone at Coos Aviation went overboard to help get the planes hangared and unload baggage. They loaned us a van and made us feel at home. This was one of the outstanding FBO's we visited on our 6, 000+ mile trip. Thanks Coos Aviation. Doug Preston RV-10 N372RVB

I visited Coos Aviation for the first time today and I was highly impressed with what I found. Their facilities and customer service were to an excellent standard and everyone we met were extremely friendly, courteous and generous. I will definitely return on a regular basis. Thanks Coos Aviation.

Best price for gas around. Both Coos and Ocean Air had personnel standing outside to marshal us to their parking. Choose Coos due to previous comments. Quality, clean and comfortable restrooms/flightplanning/lounge and the wife loves the cookies. Will bring our Bellanca back on future trips to the Pac NW.

I have been Flying out of North Bend for over a month for work and the Staff at Coos Aviation is the most attentive and helpful that I've found in my 8yrs of flying. We're a small twin and they treat us like a jet. Very few businesses really take pride in their work but you can tell the management at Coos Aviation have it down. Great facility, great cookies, pretty girls working the desk lol. Thanks everyone at Coos Aviation!

I stopped at KOTH three times in the last 2 months. Every single time the line service of Coos Aviation directed me to parking and refueled my plane very quickly while I spent some time at their great facility. They treated me very well and I flew a Grumman single. I had no experience with the other FBO - never seen anyone coming out to greet me on the ramp. All I have to say is with the service I receive from Coos Aviation; I have no reason to switch.

Nice people, stopped in a Mooney, treated like a Gulfstream. Good stop, really trying hard, just be sure to beat the AmerFlight crews to the cookies.

Excellent FBO! When I was taxiing in, line was already out on the ramp marshalling me in. Fuel order was completed by the time I had unloaded the airplane (with friendly assistance from line) and my rental car was all ready and waiting for me in the office (thanks, Mary!). Aircraft was hangared overnight free of charge and line once again helped me pull it out and load bags on departure. It couldn't have been a better experience and I heartily recommend Coos Aviation.

Coos Aviation was GREAT. I landed and they immediately topped me off and hangared my plane for two nights (NC). I visited 14 states on this trip and found no better FBO anywhere. They provided me a shower, supplies and plane protection all because I chose them and bought some fuel! Perhaps the finest FBO I've ever used. I wish they all were this good.

Stopped at Coos Aviation twice on a trip from Seattle down the west coast with two Skyhawks. First time was only for fuel, on the way back we stayed overnight. Both times handling was very professional and courteous, our rental car (Enterprise), which we had arranged for through Coos, was ready to go upon our arrival and all facilities and amenities were top-notch (briefing room, lounge, free coffee and cookies...). Definitely a recommendation!
