Small facility but has all one needs. A crew car was available for a run to the Moonlite for lunch. Avgas price best on the field.

My wife and I flew in there on 18 July this year. They were one of the two friendliest, and helpful, FB0 we have visited in several years. The other was at Dayton International in late September. (I think it has been a good year for finding excellent FBO.) In any case they helped us find a motel and get us there. They provided tie down at no charge with fill up of the cheapest fuel at the airport. Next time we head that way we be stopping at Modern just to say thanks again!

Fly into OWB twice a year to visit family and the folks at Modern Welding are fantastic -- they truly go out of their way to make your stop great. Oh, and did I mention that their gas prices are lowest on the field.

Flew in on 6/2/10 for fuel and bathroom. Price was good. Tower was a pleasure to work with. Definitely will stop here again!

The Modern Transport FBO is not open on Sundays. Their $3.69 price vs. Mid America's $4.50 price makes it a no-brainer for fueling. The Mid America folks were super friendly when I taxied in on Sunday to use their wx briefing facilities after refueling at the Modern S/S pump.
