Flew here on zero notice after a friend experienced a serious medical emergency while in Ocean City for work. Nice airport and terrific help from the staff and the on-site rental car operation. Won't hesitate to go back. And my friend is staging a full recovery. :)

Flew in for golf at the Eagles Nest course that lies next to the airport. Got a lift over to the course. Beautiful airport, great staff and reasonably priced gas. I also recommend the golf course. Challenging but fun with some beautiful views. Good bang for the buck.

Well treated on arrival 8/12/11. Plane was fueled as requested. Lots of tiedowns available; variable on the ropes. I was picked up by family members so can't comment on transportation options. $12/night parking fee, not waived with fuel purchase. I bought the $30 7-night package anticipating future visits. If arriving from the southwest, anticipate routing around the restricted areas controlled by Patuxent Approach.

I flew into OXB Sunday July 24th and as always, had a great experience from the staff at OXB. This is the second time I have rented a car while there and Don at the rental car counter could not have been nicer or more helpful! I highly recommend a trip to OXB!

Flew into KOXB on Saturday for the first time and can't say enough good things about this FBO. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. It is only a $12.00 cab ride from the FBO to the boardwalk and it is well worth it! I will definitely be back soon and spend the weekend at Ocean City.

The staff here at Ocean City takes customer service seriously. The woman at the desk was very helpful and even called me up while I was leaving to say goodbye. Even the rental car company inside the FBO has great daily rates. One of the best FBO'S I had been too.

Ditto all of the good comments re the service and Nola in particular. Paid a $6 ramp for since I did not need any of their reasonably priced gas. Rented a PT Cruiser convertible for the day for $50 and headed south to the less crowded beaches at Assateague State Park and Assateague National Seashore. The wild ponies and nature walks were an added plus.

I recently flew into OXB with a buddy for a day of golf and fun. We arrived at the airport and were greeted by the happy and smiling Nola. What a pleasure Nola was to deal with! When we told Nola we were looking for a ride to the golf course ... She jumped in the courtesy car and took us right over. She then refused the TIP I offered several times. The service and hospitality at this FBO is top shelf. Great job!!!

Traveling from FL to ME in my M-7 amphib, KOXB was a convenient place to overnight. I had stopped there several years before and found that it still is a nice place to visit. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the FBO is clean and nicely appointed. Nola was just about to close for the day but stayed around while we got our stuff out of the plane and got tied down. Then she offered to take us to the Comfort Inn and Suites (nicest overnight closest to the airport - be sure to mention that you are a pilot for a discount) and to pick us up in the morning. Next day our plane was fueled moments after I asked for the service. Don't confuse this Maryland airport with the N.J. Airport of the same name.

We flew in to KOXB for the busy 4th of July w/e. We were met by John at the entrance to the ramp, and waved into a tie down like he had known us for years. Inside the office, we met Nola, who made arrangements for the plane to be fueled while we visited Ocean City for the day. She also attempted to arrange a cab for us, but due to a 3 hour traffic jam on US 50, was unable to do so. Without missing a beat, she and John arranged to transport us to the Park & Ride in an airport van, where we could simply walk across the bridge and right onto the beach-all in our first flight into KOXB. These two stellar folks saved our holiday. Kudos to John and Nola, and Kudos to Ocean City for maintaining such a professionally staffed airport. We'll be back!

First flight out of state. Great experience. Kids were on a boat near approach waving at us. Picked up by friends and then went to boardwalk and enjoyed the beach. $6 for 6 hour parking, a little pricey but worth it. Friendly staff. Will visit again in future

My wife and I flew in on Friday just for the night from VA Beach. It was a great trip. Airport is very nice and the folks there are nice. $12 is a bit steep for a tiedown but OXB is the only game in town if you are heading to OC and the boardwalk. Talk to Don at Express Rent a Car there at the FBO. Renting a car isn't much more than taking a cab. We paid around $50 to rent a 4 door Jag for the night. We stayed at Park Place. The room was nice, clean and the bathroom was huge with a jetted tub. We ate at Harrison’s, which was very good. A little pricey but worth it. Stay away from the breakfast at the hotel though. It was there so we ate there. I wish we had gone to Denny's or McDonalds or anywhere else. All in all a great trip and we will be back. Have some drinks at the Purple Moose, oh and it is great that you can't smoke inside any of the bars there. I wish VA would get a clue on this.

Have been to OXB half a dozen times in the last three months.. Service is always friendly. Nice Facility. Kathy and Don are always very helpful. Although no courtesy car, rentals are inexpensive and quick. We always call ahead and speak to Don directly. We have been able to virtually get out of our airplane and walk to our car in less then 5 minutes. Fuel prices on 100LL, good too.

Flew into OXB in our club C172 aircraft with a fellow club member on 11/29. The airport was not busy when we arrived in the late afternoon. The parking spots on the ramp have ropes to tie down your aircraft. Had to pay a small ramp fee ($6.00) in addition to the fuel that we purchased. We only had to pay $20.00 for a rental car that we used to drive around Ocean City. We were in the town for only several hours and almost everything in the town was closed when we arrived. I plan on returning here in the spring or summer.

Flew in on 10/4/09. Friendly folks at the FBO. Easy car rental. $12.00 overnight a little steep for a single, particularly after taking a load of fuel. The 100LL price was good at the self-service.

Flew in with 3 of my golfing buddies for a round of golf at nearby Eagles Landing Course. The staff at OXB was able to load us up into their van and take us over to the course. Daily parking fee was only $6. Only wish that I had more empty space in the fuel tanks so I could have taken advantage of their great fuel prices. We will most definitely return!

Flew in 9/25/09 for the weekend. Got there after dark, with a gusty x-wind that the ASOS did not very accurately report. Fortunately, Greg was landing ahead of me and gave me better runway advice and a report of the landing conditions. He was also very helpful and gave us a ride into town after we landed. Thank you very much Greg!

Nice airport and terminal facility, with reasonable self-serve and truck fuel and friendly folks. Getting into town can be pricey--about $12 for a cab each way to the nearest part of town. Going further into town make it cheaper to rent a car than pay the cab both ways. Rental location at the terminal does a good job.

Flew in over the Labor Day holiday. Busy airport with plenty of parking (6.00). Must wait about 15min for a cab once called either way so be ready. Ride to the beach about 11.00 ea way. Here's a surprise! You can flag a taxi on the main road but they can't pull over w/o getting in trouble. They must turn off at the next intersection and wait for you to walk back. So, stand near a cross street or you will just keep walking thinking these people are so busy they never stop.

No one came out to show me where to park. Two FBO guys leaning on their golf cart did nothing to help, but they leapt into action when Cirrus came in behind me. Desk person took forever to process a simple fuel order because they were typing everything into the CC terminal manually and had it misconfigured for credits. Clue: get a computer that does that automatically, prints out my invoice and gets me on my way in 2-3 minutes rather than 20. If you're in a hurry, avoid dealing with the FBO if at all possible. Use the self-serve pumps located at the northwest side of the ramp, feel free to use the public facilities in the terminal, and make your own arrangements for transportation.

Flew in for the first time to look at an airplane for sale. The lineman, John, couldn't have been more friendly or helpful. Personal service with a smile. This was probably my best experience at an airport. I regularly fly in to another nearby airport for convenience, but if OXB were closer to my usual destination, I would choose to land there in a heartbeat.

Flew in for the afternoon on 6/27/09. Nice facilities, nice people. I'll call ahead for a cab or a car next time, we waited 30 min. I wish more general aviation airports could support as many businesses as this on (skydiving, charter, flight school, sightseeing).

Great Day to be in Ocean City, MD. Flew to KOXB with the Mercer Flying Club (N87-Trenton/Robbinsville) on our monthly flyout. The staff at KOXB was wonderful and very helpful. They allowed our group to use their 12-passenger van for the day for only $40. We will definitely keep this destination on our calendar for the future. Landing fee $6 for a single. Flew in for a Saturday quick get-away. The staff was excellent. The attendant at the desk (Norra?) was very welcoming and helpful for us to find a great seafood place. It's a pleasure to find nice folks like this when you come into a strange airport for the first time. We will return and recommend Ocean City to everyone.
