I stopped in on a ferry flight from Maine to Texas. I had to divert to Pine Bluff to get around some rain and thunderstorms that were building and moving through. I arrived at 5:55pm. The FBO closed at 6, however, the line guy was very helpful with the SS pump, told me how to get into the building, and everything was there that I needed. Only bad thing, the vending machines wouldn't take my dollar bills and I was hungry :) Not a bad stop with nice facilities. VERY cheap fuel for the area too.

What a great experience! I called ahead the day before my flight and spoke with airport manager Doug Hale. I explained I'd be arriving after hours on July 4th weekend for a RON fuel stop enroute from California to Florida, and asked about ground transportation into town to get to my hotel. Doug said "not a problem" and promised me that the airport courtesy car would be at my disposal overnight, with the keys hidden in a specific location. When I arrived Saturday night, I found everything exactly as advertised. The airport car is a big red Ford Crown Victoria that used to be a city police car until it was promoted to its current role. There are plenty of nice hotels a couple of miles from the airport (I stayed in one of the two Holiday Inn Expresses), and plenty of restaurants of all kinds (I had a wonderful catfish dinner at Leon's Catfish House, a popular hangout with the locals). 100LL is about $1/gal cheaper than Little Rock. What's not to like. I'll be back!

Another quite airport. Friendly folks who made a courtesy car available. Good price on SS fuel. I'd stop again.

Airport Great, Personnel Great, Quick Refueling, Great Fuel Price, ok Rental Car, if you have lots, lots, no I mean lots of time use ENTERPRISE, they may pick you up, if they answer phone will put you on hold, I hung up after 10 minutes and tried again. I even call before to confirm they would be there, what gives. Otherwise Choose Budget. By the way, got car 2 hours after landing and Gas light was on (had to fuel it too). Otherwise I recommend you call Budget.

The upside is reasonable 100LL prices and a good restaurant from 11am - 2pm. So it's good for a lunch break. The downside is the pilot lounge/resources are still incomplete and it doesn't look like they will be available anytime soon. They let me use one of the employee’s computers to do a quick weather check, but that's about it for flight services.

The manager was very helpful in arranging for use of the crew car and allowing me to return it after closing hours. I noticed some remodeling underway on the terminal building. I was told the restaurant is currently open 11-2 M-F.

We have stopped in several times. Bathrooms are dirty. Pilot's Flight Planning Room has been gutted and is just an empty room with no furniture or equipment. Lineman is very friendly! But the facilities are very lacking. The cafe has been closed when we've been there and it's hard to tell when they open/close. Staff inside the airport are always very disinterested and act as if they can't be bothered with transients. We'll skip this spot next time.
