Great place, clean FBO, long runway and easy instrument approach.

My wife and I stopped overnight at PCD during an aircraft ferry flight on May 20th when the weather prevented us from continuing north to St Louis. Although the airport FBO was unoccupied during our late afternoon arrival, a code allowed entry into the building. Refreshments and snacks were available on the honor system, as well as access to Wi-Fi. Thankfully, a courtesy car was available for sign out once I contacted the airport manager, Ms. Barbara Maxwell. Had the courtesy car not been available, I'm not confident we would have been able to get transportation into Perryville to get a hotel for the night. Self-serve 100LL is located in the immediate vicinity of the FBO, and there are plenty of tie down spots available right on the open ramp.

I stopped here on way to/from Houston and Oshkosh. On the way up to OSH, the local EAA chapter provided a lunch and snacks. Very friendly FBO folks. Nice and clean facility.

Stopped here from my way from Wisconsin to Mississippi. No one around but there did not need to be because everything was set out for you in the FPO. Water coffee keys to the car and a can for donations. Fuel was $3.50 the cheapest I've ever seen it. Nice job.
