Brand new self-serve fuel island, long runways, good terminal, WSI wx available, wireless available, and it's only 30 minutes driving time from OSH. We'll be back! We used the Comfort Suites Foxfire as our base for Airventure this year. BTW, great golf courses around here. Enterprise will deliver cars from their Stevens Point office if you coordinate ahead of time, and rent for more than a day or two.

Stopped for fuel after leaving Oshkosh, friendly folks and reasonably priced fuel. Classic courtesy car - retired unmarked police car.

I am another of the Cherokee's 2 OSH group that staged in Waupaca. The facilities are first class. Plenty of good tie downs imbedded in the concrete apron. Easy self serve fuel system and then there is Pete. Pete is a really good guy and runs the operation like a well wound clock. With the heavy rains, there were 40 Cherokees and a lot of other transient aircraft, mostly waiting to try to get into Oshkosh. The arrangements that Pete made for our group were nothing short of outstanding. Great place to stop!

7/21 - 7/27 2010. Flew into Waupaca as part of the Cherokee's to Oshkosh event. We were staging at Waupaca and doing formation flight training followed by a flight out to Oshkosh. Due to record rains, we never got the chance to fly to Oshkosh. Waupaca (Pete) did an outstanding job taking care of all the transient folks there on the field and went way beyond the call of duty. The Cessna folks also arrived with the same plan and ended up staying at Waupaca as well. Hats off to Waupaca and Pete. Thanks so much and we'll be see you same time next year.

Great Oshkosh airport! Easy in/out, inexpensive fuel, friendly/helpful people, even had hangar space for $25 a night, only 45 minutes from Oshkosh.

Nice Airport, Nice people. We fly in here about once a month and use their courtesy car to go play golf at 2 of the local courses. Fuel prices on their new self-serve pumps are very competitive.

Highly recommended FBO with friendly and professional staff and excellent service. Also, very nice airport and self-service fuel equipment. Many thanks to Trevor and Beth and the kind gentleman who helped us with engine starts whose name I have regrettably forgotten.

My new favorite mid-Wisconsin airport. Self-Serve fuel, friendly help, great new LONG runway. Excellent for the corporate guys. Town is a few minutes away as well as fishing and good food. If you’re going to OSH, it's less than a 30 min. drive.
