Touring around the NW coast last September, in a C172 we decided to stop in Pacific City for the night. We had heard and read only good things about the Craftsman B&B at PFC and we were not disappointed... Even though free pickup was provided, we elected to walk across the small PFC runway and literary about 5 min later we were at the door of the Craftsman. Michael was very hospitable and we had a great night sleep and a good breakfast in this Pacific city jewel. Definitively worth spending the extra few bucks compared to staying in some of the PFC run down motels/hotels. Landing at PFC was uneventful as long as one touches down in the beginning of the runway. On departure of runway 32, make sure to climb straight ahead to 1000ft or so before turning left due to some noise sensitive neighbors. PFC was one of the nicest places of our 1500nm tour around the NW coast. Your perfect getaway!

We flew into Pacific City and I called to see if we could get a room on a Friday afternoon. We got lucky and got the last room for that night. Laura met us at the airport and brought us over to the B&B. It's really lovely. Tasteful, comfortable and quiet. Mike and Laura are interesting and helpful. Nice breakfast. Such a peaceful, quiet place to stay. We ate dinner at the Delicate Palate which was walking distance and that was good too! Will come back someday and stay at this B&B for sure!
