I highly recommend Flight Deck Aviation to everyone interested in pilot training in the Florida Panhandle area. My instructors, Chris Hester and Joan Evert, are honest, patient, knowledgeable, easygoing, and very friendly. They do stick to the rules, however, and will train you properly. In fact, I found my training to be more difficult than my actual private pilot checkride. Trust me - this is what you want. Chris and Joan have slightly different teaching styles which, minimizes your chance of having an instructor who doesn't mesh well with your learning methodology. They will schedule training around your hectic schedule. Flight Deck Aviation has a variety of aircraft and can take you all the way through Commercial and Flight Instructor ratings. I now look forward to getting my instrument rating with them.
