American Aviation is a FIRST CLASS FBO. We had a Mooney weekend long fly-in this past weekend and they were prompt, professional, friendly, and had the best fuel prices within 150 miles or more. Definitely plan to go to Page for the beauty of Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon, Glen Canyon, and more. But make sure you utilize the services of this great FBO.

There are 2 FBOs at this airport, and each will compete for your business, coming to get you in golf carts, and bringing the fuel truck to you. American Aviation is closer to the runway and has a large terminal-style building with a gift shop, snack vending machine with sandwiches, televisions, etc. The other FBO is farther away and has a much more limited supply of amenities. The fuel prices are also slightly different. Make sure when you climb into a golf cart, that you know which FBO is taking you. Classic was about $0.20 cheaper, and they had a crew car available for use.

Stopped for quik-turn this afternoon in our Turbo Commander N900NE. Had 'best of' all services needed. Thanks folks. Well done. Great fuel price here.

They met us at my C182 with a golf cart as soon as I shut down and gave us a ride to the hotel. They also left a message to pick us up in the morning, and someone was there at the hotel at 6:30am sharp. The plane was refueled exactly as I requested. The fuel prices were very fair and the scenery flying in can't be matched. I highly recommend this as a stop for anyone who is anywhere near.

I've made several more trips out here since the last comment I posted. The 2 FBOs at this airport will compete for your business, coming to get you in golf carts, and bringing the fuel truck to you. American Aviation is closer to the runway and has a large terminal-style building with a gift shop, snack vending machine with sandwiches, televisions, etc. The other FBO is farther away and has a much more limited supply of amenities. The fuel prices are also slightly different sometimes. Make sure when you climb into a golf cart, that you know which FBO is taking you. They are both friendly and will provide rides to local hotels, generally driven by pilots who are flying the tourists around Lake Powell, so they can also give you advice on your flying plans.

Friendly service. Drove us to our hotel and picked us up at 7am the next morning to bring us back to the plane.

Nicest, most accommodating people I've ever met. Bob, the Chief Pilot, could not have been more helpful if he had to. We arrived for a 3-day trip in the area. Bob arranged for us to keep our plane in the hangar so we could get an early start on the very cold winter mornings. Gave us a ride to the hotel. Picked us up the next morning -- an hour before they usually open -- so we could get to our next destination on time. We ran in to some mechanical issues while away and were running late getting back. I called and Bob stayed late -- same day he picked us up early -- so we could get into the hangar again. Took us to our hotel, again. And one of the linemen picked us up the next morning. We will definitely go back to Page and use American Aviation.

9/16/07 stopped on way to west coast and spent the night. Great service, they took us to our hotel and picked us up in the morning. The other field operator was closed it was a Sunday. I would recommend American Aviation, excellent fuel price and service.

The transient parking is inconveniently located on the other side of a long row of hangers and far from the terminal. Once Craig learned we were on the ground (he missed our call coming in), he was more than helpful (the other gas merchant employees just sat there watching us walk in from parking; we were obviously unsure of where to go). Craig had one of his employees give us a ride to our motel. He would have had us picked up the next day had we called, and once we were at the airport; he drove us to our plane in his cart. Comfortable small pilot's lounge in terminal. (BTW, the Express Shuttle in town is a joke - they drive endlessly around town, but just try to get them to stop to pick you up! The other shuttle service in town is OK - $5 per person anywhere.) Good dinner at Fiesta Mexicana.

American rep was first to greet us as we pulled onto ramp on 3/22. Terminal building is sparse for GA pilots - no restaurant and only a phone for obtaining weather information. There are restrooms and a gift shop.

It's a little awkward having to choose on the spot between two people who are offering essentially an identical product at the same price. I chose American Aviation for fuel today on my way east. Maybe I'll go with Classic tomorrow on my way home. I will say both gentlemen were good-natured about their friendly competition.
