Nice Airport. Stopped in for fuel on July 28. Ben was out to the plane to help fuel with a bottle of cold water as soon as I landed. Great service!

Came here for a few nights with a Citation. Everyone at the airport was very friendly and helpful, especially Bill the airport manager. Great stop and good fuel prices.

From Bob Hague on 08-Apr-2013

I spent a couple of days in the area and had a very good experience with KPIM. Fuel was cheap, the people were very friendly, and Internet access was good. The airport is expanding which is something good to see so in a year or so there should be new hangars and FBO building. I've added it to my list of fuel stops on the way to Florida.

From John Bremner on 31-Mar-2013

Great airport! The fuel prices are good and the service is great. They even pump your gas for you at the self-serve price. Nice little FBO. Easy in and out. Bill Champion and Ben Baker are wonderful people and make the stop worthwhile. Also doesn't have the risk of skydivers all over the place like they do at Thomaston. Major expansion coming, too, with a longer runway and new hangars. This is how all FBO's should be. Perfect fuel stop from the Midwest to Florida.

Normally, for the last 7 years, enroute from the Chicago area to Marco Island, FL and back, we have stopped for fuel at Thomaston, GA (KOPN), but this is the new fuel stop for us. Ben met us at the fuel pumps as we pulled up and pumped the gas for us, at the self-serve price. All I did was swipe my card. Never got this kind of service at OPN but this is what you get here. They are really trying hard to grow their business and it shows. Stop here - you won't be disappointed. They even have an airport van that you can use for lunch. Great stop. And based upon the previous reports of returning a wallet with cash to a transient pilot, these are the kind of guys that I want to do business with.

My story----left my wallet on the fuel pump.... Contained a great amount of cash, drivers license, credit cards, etc. You can imagine. After discovering it was missing, called Mr. Bill Champion who drove from home back to the airport to look for it. 3 days later, I got it in the US MAIL, all accounted for. This is what makes a great love for General Aviators...The people who manage these facilities who are honest and hospitable to no end. Many thanks! Please stop when in the area, I know I will...Forever in debt to these wonderful southern folk, especially Mr. Champion. Southern Hospitality can't be beat!

21 Nov. 2012 Now this is a cool place CHEAP fuel and friendly folks to help out as needed. Got fuel in our little Cessna (140) heading North for turkey day.

Flew in 16-18 Nov and stayed at the Gardens. I would like to thank Bill and his team for the hospitality and wonderful service. This is our second year coming and staying at Pine Mountain and we will be back. Great gas prices!

From Billy Evans on 14-Sep-2012

What great service and hospitality! Spoke to Bill Champion over the phone and he was more than accommodating providing us access to the FBO and courtesy car despite us arriving 30min late after hours. Benjamin Baker was there to receive us and was extremely helpful. They have some really nice bikes for rental to ride to the entrance to Callaway Gardens (about 2-3 miles). We drove the CC to the Country Kitchen, ate a nice dinner, and drove back. Despite, Callaway Gardens new limited policy on pickups at KPIM, this is one of the best spots in Georgia for a stop and go. Lowest fuel prices I have seen in Georgia, I WILL BE BACK! We completely filled up the courtesy car with gas despite it being a short ride.... It was the least we could do for such a great FBO!

We had a great experience at the airport today. Thanks for the ride to the garden and for your hospitality. We look forward to visiting again!

Bill took great care of us when we stopped to drop passengers and buy fuel. PIM is a great place to stop on the west side of Atlanta's Class B. Easy in, easy out. The fuel is reasonable, the conversation is priceless!

From John Aldous on 23-Apr-2012

Great fuel prices for a stop. Personable and helpful. Lowest prices for fuel if you are going west of ATL.

From C Winship on 11-Mar-2012

I stop at KPIM regularly to fill up. Wonderful airport with friendly people and great fuel prices! Thank you guys for all you do for GA.

From Steven Lynn on 11-Mar-2012

Stopped for fuel on the way from Key West to KBMG- great price, very friendly, clean and offered free car to go in an get us some lunch. I will "for sure" be stopping here again - also very clear approach corridor.

From David Cartwright on 04-Jan-2012

Stopped for gas for my E55 Baron on the way to FL from WI after Christmas. Called ahead to verify all ok and talked to Bill. When he saw us land, he ran over in his truck to check all was good with the self serve equipment. No problems and great price. Meanwhile the girls all stopped in the facilities. Perfect set up for a fuel stop enroute to FL. Dodge Atlanta ATC by filing to Lagrange and then to Harris County. (From the NW). I'm sure I will stop there again.
