Best self serve pump I've seen. Works well and is easy plus some thought went into the design. Every thing about KPSO is great except the price of fuel and the ramp arrangement. Avjet lineman could not believe fuel at KSJN is over a dollar cheaper (for full service). Ramp design not good, starting at the south end is the GA 100LL self serve ramp, going north is the Gulfstream Ramp directly in front of the FBO, North of that is the GA parking ramp. Even if you are only staying a few hours they want piston aircraft to park in the ramp furthest from fuel.

Friendly and helpful FBO staff. Great pilot community and beautiful scenery. Wolf Creek is one of the last family-run ski resorts in CO and consistently has the most snow of all the CO ski areas. A real gem in the San Juan’s.

Stopped in for 3-4 days while staying at our family ranch outside of Pagosa. Landed and was met by personnel who quickly helped tie down. Paid truck price to top off the tanks, which I figured would result in a waive of tiedown fee, but never assume...When we departed, didn't get the same friendly service. Had a bunch of luggage to haul and wasn't offered any help. Facilities, however, are very nice and very little traffic observed. Will return, but hope to find better service in the future.

Bob and Chris at Avjet provided friendly, professional service that is second to none. This is the best stop for a ski trip in Colorado!

Great help from the FBO staff here, and outstanding service from the Enterprise rep--was ready to go with the car (there on the ramp to meet us), and followed up with checking directions and making sure we had everything taken care of. All concerned at PSO were very helpful and ensured that we had a wonderful stay visiting family in the mountains.

We landed at PSO to visit family in the area. The FBO was very busy with aircraft of all sizes, but we got directed to the self-serve pump quickly and before I could finish pumping my own fuel the line person was standing by to get my Tiger tied down. They provided free bottled water on our departure. This is a very good customer service oriented FBO. Keep up the good work.

New GA tiedown area is open. Easy access and plenty of room. Had great service on arrival and departure even though they were quite busy.

Flew a PA32 here from Texas for vacation. Great FBO. Warm and friendly staff. I even hired a CFI, Douglas, to give me a lesson on Mountain flying. Missed out on playing golf, but it's located within a couple of miles of the airport. This FBO is first class.

Oh my! What an airport and a great FBO to boot. Can't wait to return with more golfers and fishermen. Isn't General Aviation the best!

We flew in to enjoy the fresh powder at nearby Wolf Creek ski area. Our rental car was warmed up and ready to go when we taxied in, and our airplane was tucked away in the heated hangar for a reasonable rate. The staff is first rate and friendly. We'll be back soon!

I recently spent two nights at Pagosa Springs. My experience was marginal. While the FBO personnel were courteous, it's obvious they (maybe the city) is really trying to discourage light airplane traffic in favor of the jets. A resurfaced runway and new ramp and FBO building all put in a couple of years ago to get the jet traffic. But, the parking area designated for us little guys is in bad need of repair (not taxiable) and actually "closed". Although, there is nowhere else to park, so they move the barrier and let you park there. At least they can't keep us from using the runway. So, all in all I left feeling lucky to have had a space to park. That was until I got a bill for tie down fee. This was completely unexpected. There was no mention of this fee the time. And come on; is $7 per night going to even be a drop in the bucket toward the cost of repairing the ramp? My recommendation is to avoid PSO if you can go anywhere else.

Tiedowns are non existent near the main terminal, and a plane has to be towed to them if desired. There is a $7.00 per night "tiedown" fee regardless of whether fuel is purchased, which is very unusual. I fueled twice while there, and no allowance was made for that, as the FBO blames the County management for the new policy. The County Manager says that they have lost a lot of money and are trying to make it up. My airplane spent the 6 days in chocks, fueled twice at the self-serve, and was charged $42.00 for nothing but self-service.

The FBO will give you 200% when it comes to your airplane. We came in, in a King Air 200 and planned to spend the night and leave the following evening. They manager personally gave me a ride to the hotel and even helped me try to fix a small panel that had come loose in our airplane. We found out at 5:00pm that night our pax wanted to leave first thing that morning. Although the FBO had closed at 5:00 they came back out and filled us up for the next morning and were very friendly and courteous. Can't say enough good about them, excellent people and FBO!

We spent a delightful week here over Memorial Day, flying our C-172 in the mornings when the weather permitted. What a beautiful location to fly! The only weird thing is the tie-down situation, which isn't Avjet's fault. Basically, there are no tie-downs on the main ramp (and given the wind that can come up, you really do want to tie down), so you have to tow or push the plane to the secondary ramp. Avjet will happily do this for you during business hours. Unfortunately, for early morning takeoffs required for mountain flying (which is all we did), you'll have to push your plane out of the secondary parking by yourself. (It's uphill, so bring some friends.) Hopefully the funding will come in to finish the taxiway soon!

Extremely courteous and helpful staff at Avjet! I flew in on a Sunday afternoon, and they were there to help park and tie-down the aircraft, and had cold drinks and freshly baked cookies inside! Great service, good prices. I would visit again!

I have landed at every mountain airport in Colorado, and this is hands down, the friendliest, most welcoming of them all. In addition, they have a good GPS approach, and the gas prices are very reasonable for a mountain airport. I come here regularly for the great skiing at Wolf Creek, the great hiking and mountain biking, and the wonderful hot springs in town. Don't miss this mountain gem.
