What a GREAT place for a vacation. The airport is very nice and GA friendly. Amelia's Landing has a car at the airport for pilots to use. The rooms are small but clean, totally comfortable and the price was even better. Everything in town is within walking distance of the hotel, especially the restaurants so the room size was irrelevant. I highly recommend the Seafood Gumbo at Castaways, the "Bacon Cheddar Cheeseburger" pizza at the Port Aransas Micro Brewery and the all you can eat catfish at "Fins". The owners of Amelia's Landing (Jay & Mary) went out of their way to make sure we had an awesome experience there. This is one place we will definitely come back to many more times.

Great value and a wonderful flying getaway. Hosts are most accommodating and Randy, the airport manager, is eager to help. Lots to see and do (and not do) regardless of the weather.

Great place to stay, in the heart of everything and the owners are on-site so you get wonderful customer service. For pilots, there is a car at the airport available to visitors. We will definitely be back, thanks for the warm welcome!

Exceptional value - and the owners are pilots! If you've ever stayed at the over-the-top cool Alexis Park Inn & Suites at the Iowa City airport - same owners. Personal service, clean and comfortable rooms, free breakfast and all at a fair rate. These folks treat you right, and really know how to make a flying family feel right at home.
