A great place to sit and watch the local traffic come and go. 100LL was $5.55/gallon.

Good service and reasonable fuel prices. Reasonable anyway by today's standards

Great to see that Cardan has taken over the fuel operation and now offers the best prices for miles around. The upstairs cafe in the terminal is a great little burger joint. Definitely one of our favorite NorCal stops.

Anyone who makes a fuel stop going to or from Oregon is likely also hungry and wants to eat something that didn't come out of a vending machine, have fuel filled by someone else, and have plenty of runway for high density altitude. You could try Redding and walk 10 minutes to a pretty decent Chinese restaurant while shooshng your kids. Or instead, you can park 100 steps from a town that is so filled with friendly people that you wonder if Rod Serling isn't going to pop out from behind a tree to tell you that a boy monster is running the entire town. The fuel guy was super-helpful and got us fueled in 100 degree heat, cheerfully. Everyone obviously knew him and stopped to chitchat with him. And I just can't stop gushing about the restaurant: even with three restless kids, the waitress put our comfort at the top of her list. And while the food wasn't necessarily 5-star dining, I felt welcome and didn't miss the fancy Chinese food. Thanks Red Bluff. We will be back.

Easy-to-use self-service pump, conveniently located next to the terminal (on the second floor of which you will find Valeighs Airpark Restaurant, open 7 am to 2 pm seven days a week).

Flew into Red Bluff to have my passengers take care of some government business downtown. While my co-pilot and I waited, the new owners of the FBO greeted us. We had an EXCELLENT reception and were treated very nicely. I would recommend Cardan Aircraft Services to anyone flying in the area.
