I can't say enough good things for the group at Avionics Place. I had my Garmin 430 upgraded to waas and 496 connected by them a few years ago...Great job! Then yesterday, I was on a cross-country and while close to KRFD, I noticed a problem with my Garmin 696. Wasn't getting power from the electrical buss. Well, the plane just came out of annual and the A&P had been under the panel tidying up things. I quickly landed at KRFD and stopped by Avionics Place. I also had my 2 Golden Retrievers and it was a warm day so I couldn't even look under the panel to see what was wrong. With my hands full, they came out and offered to help ASAP. Within 15 mins they had corrected the problem and I was on my way! That's how you treat customers...I can't thank them enough for the help and fix!
