Excellent FBO, good, quick fuel service. Always ready with a vehicle or a ride to lunch, gym etc. Friendly and helpful staff. One of my favorite stops.

It's going on FIVE YEARS! I've posted comments in 2003, 2004, and 2006! I nominated them for AvWeb's "FBO OF THE WEEK" in 2007 for their "rock star" treatment. STILL the best stop at RFD if not the entire Chicagoland area. But, guys, I miss the Krispy Kreme donuts! The cookies, fresh coffee, courtesy car, fair fuel prices, Johnny-on-the-spot line crew, sexy L-39's in the hangar, and the warm smiles from the ladies up front more than make up for the lost calories! North American-Pride shows the other FBO's how it's done right!

Stopped for fuel 6-29. Awesome service. Line people were very professional and friendly. Ladies behind the desk were efficient and quite pleasant. This was my first stop at RFD; I'll be back for sure.

Stopped in for fuel. Great service by the line staff had the truck in position and hose in hand before I got off the plane. Called ahead for catering and all was handled perfectly. Interesting shop with warbirds. They proudly display AirNav Top FBO ribbon on their counter. Easy enough in/out with ATC. Highly recommend.

I am just a late night "Freight Dog" and we always seem to end up and NA in the middle of the night. Even if it is a huge inconvenience for the line guys they are always waiting for us with top service. They go as far as jumping into the aircraft and doing all of the grunt work so we can preflight and get out of there faster. There is never a rush to leave they will stay as late as they have to if we can’t get out right away. On a different note I always seem to run into one line guy I think Trevor was his name, once he threw me in his own truck and took me to the hotel. I don't know how much he get paid but he needs a raise. Always a great experience, thanks North American.

Stopped for a quick turn in my C-303. Great line service with the fuel truck waiting, good fuel prices and excellent counter service. Plus a free coke to boot. Would recommend North American to anyone.

I flew into RFD in my King Air only to find not 1 but 2 choices, let me tell you I guessed right. I went over to North American on a cross-country "pit stop" and they treated me like I was Burt Reynolds. I mean I'm telling you, it was something else. 2 line professionals and I mean PROFESSIONALS greeted me with a huge rug at my stairs and had the truck at my aircraft faster than I could say, "Top off". Not only was the service beyond good but also the prices were very low. Thank you NA, we will be seeing each other again even if I don't really have to stop I will.

Scroll down to AUG 2004, and you will see my SECOND comment. The first was in 2003!!! The service is STILL the best at RFD years later! No erosion or cutbacks in CS. I taxied in on November 9 in the Skylane and two "ramp logistics technicians" ran out to great me as if I was a G-IV. I needed to get over to the east side of town so "Super Trevor" (line manager) drove me the twelve miles saving me rental car or cab fees! I did try "Brand X" on the north side two months ago and they still don't know how to flash a welcoming smile and a "Thanks for your business" like Amber and her workmates at the NA front desk. Keep on keepin' on! (P.S. They keep the fuel prices low for us little guys, bless 'em).

Excellent FBO. They met us on the ramp, called National and had them pick us up for our rental car. Cookies, drinks and a comfortable pilots lounge. We returned later in the evening for departure and Heidi took great care of us. Try to call ahead and let them know you are coming.

This is one of the best FBO's I've encountered flying all accross Illinois, Wisconsin, and Iowa. I've flown in there in everything from a C172 to a Seminole and always been treated extremely well. Linemen are always very pleasant and welcoming, immediately offering whatever they can do to help or provide fuel. Amber and Heidi behind the counter are two of the friendliest you will ever meet, and always offer fantastic service. Fresh coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and cookies are always around, as well as a very comfortable pilot's lounge, clean restroom with shower, and computerized weather and flight planning/briefing room. We were even offered complimentary bottled water or soda when flying in there late one night last week, and were fueled up and ready to go in just a few minutes. They also have a bunch of L-39 jets you can look at in the attached hangar. Overall, I can't recommend North American enough if you're in the area and need fuel or a pit stop...

Stopped in for the first time, after many years of visiting the other side of the airport. Found out the fuel prices were lower here, not to mention the very friendly greeting from the moment I stepped out of my plane. The lineman was prompt and friendly. Once inside, I met Amber who was friendly as ever and let me know that drinks, cookies, and ice cream were also available on a complimentary basis. Amber told me of the services available at North American, and I don't think they're missing anything. I strongly reccommend stopping in to get great fuel prices and meet friendly, professional people.

I arrived at North American Aviation during a cold, November rainstorm. Heidi quickly arranged for a rental car at a reduced rate, while Bobby worked to find hangar space for my plane. In already full hangars, he carefully stored my plane until more suitable flying weather. Thanks for helping me out. You are the best!

I stopped here last year on my way to Oshkosh, and it was great. Low fuel prices, and nice people. I'm looking forward to stopping again this year on the way to Oshkosh.
