Stopped by Flabob on a recent visit to Southern California. As always... Anytime that you visit Flabob it is like stepping back to the 30's/40's. The relaxed atmosphere and intimate feel of the airport are very surprising considering it is in the middle of a major metropolitan area. The restaurant has a very welcoming feel & the food is excellent and a good value. The fuel prices are better than you will find over at Riverside Muni or Chino, so it is worth the stop. Take a look around while you are there.... It is worth the time.

Flabob Airport is unique in various ways: Very friendly people both pilots and non-pilots ready to lend a hand when needed; the presence of Mount Rubidoux in the traffic pattern and the peaceful and serene environment when the aircraft that come and go on a regular basis are at rest. Come and enjoy this historical gem in Southern California!

I always fuel up at Flabob instead of RAL, my home airport. Fuel pumps operate consistently, are new and well maintained, and fuel prices are very competitive. The AirNav price is the price you pay...No fuel minimum games. Plus it's a fun flight from RAL especially turning base leg parallel to Mt. Rubidoux. Really like the old fashioned feel of Flabob.
