Flew to RUE today (8-27-11) from Saline County - just for the proverbial "$100 Hamburger". Very nice facility (nearly new), good service from Derek, and crew car available. This is a very good stop. Easy to see and approach the airport from the air, and fuel is very competitive. Would be a good stopover/midpoint for a long cross country. Good places to eat not far away.

Another good visit this weekend. If you haven't checked out this FBO yet, you're missing something special! Consider using it for your next fuel stop...You won't be disappointed.

Learned to fly here back in the early '90s. Always a pleasure to come back for a visit. The new FBO facility is well planned, beautifully constructed and apportioned. You feel like you're in a major city FBO, with down home personality and service. Thanks Bobby and staff!

I encountered very friendly and helpful people at this airport. My friend and I used this airport as a base to visit Mount Magazine State Park in Paris, Ark. It is about an hour drive. There is not an airport with KRUE's level of service closer to Mt. Magazine other than maybe Fort Smith (KFSM). The landing here is very scenic on 2-5 with Mt. Nebo in the background and is close to Lake Dardanelle and Nuclear One. The facility seemed to be recently remodeled, as it was very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend anyone fly here if visiting the mountains of western Arkansas. We plan on returning.

Landed early on a weekday morning for an x-country fuel stop. Absolutely wonderful service. Fresh coffee, fast fuel service, great/brand new FBO facility. Add KRUE to your list of places to visit.

Not only is this an award-winning FBO, the personnel could not be friendlier. If you have time, eat at Opal Mae's Cafe downtown. Excellent daily buffet. Strongly recommend it as a fuel stop.

Outstanding FBO stopover. After a long day of fighting strong headwinds from SAF, we arrived just after closing time (7pm), called on Unicom 40 miles out and they stayed until our arrival, tied us down, gave us the access code to the new FBO terminal, and the keys to the airport car for our overnight stay. You can't ask for more than that!

We were based at KRUE for several days while working in the area, and Bobby Day, the airport manager, was helpful throughout. He met us after each flight, regardless of what he was doing elsewhere on the field, to ask if we needed anything. Great service, nice facility, and good fuel prices.

Great stop! Flew down from Branson with a non-pilot, non-flying, somewhat skeptical passenger for a scenic flight to check out the autumn color. Got the tour of the beautiful new terminal and enjoyed super friendly service. Was given use of (Bobby's?) personal car for lunch as crew car was out. Had a great lunch at Madame Wu's (highly recommended). Passenger was impressed with customer service and friendliness of everyone, if not my crosswind skill.... RUE is a great example of how GA will survive.

Nice terminal, good friendly people, nice facility. And still being improved, I was weathered in there Saturday. Snack/Soda machine was stocked. Good place to be stuck at if ya gotta.

We stopped in Russellville on our way west. We found the service exceptional and the fuel prices very good. We got a tour of the new terminal building as well. I would recommend RUE for a great fuel stop.
