Stopped on way back north. Pump hose too short to fill both sides of aircraft without repositioning. Suggest longer Avgas hose. Receipt printer out of paper. Terminal Facility under renovation and should look better next time. Longer runway 5000 feet!

Stopped here twice, on the way to the final launch of Space Shuttle Endeavor 5/15, and return 5/17. I called on Thursday 5/13 to the Reidsville Apt Authority (912-557-1892) to confirm price and avgas on hand. They assured me there was plenty in the ground for several weeks, which means the price, would not change. Fueled 5/15 at very competitive $4.50. Fueled 5/17 at $5.20 - not competitive. Was I too honest with my trip plans to RAA? Avgas pump old, heavy, static line clamp broke. Handed broken clamp to desk worker on Monday. Ladder small and unstable. Taxiway construction underway now. Should be done in a few weeks. Easy airport to access. In the middle of nowhere, but good amenities, restrooms, Internet to check flight info. I'll stop again here on way to FL only if avgas is competitive.

Stopped in on 12/27/2010 and on 1/2/2011. Fuel price was $3.70 for 100LL both times - Thanks for the lowest price for fuel from Michigan to Florida - Nice Xmas surprise. Facility is okay but dated. New taxi, runway under construction and appeared to add about 1000 feet to the runway and the addition of taxiways will be helpful. Good GPS approach and easy to get in and out. Will be back

Great small town airport with good fuel prices. Friendly staff too.

Very nice fuel stop. Fuel prices are the best around the area. Facilities are nicely maintained with new computers and pilots' lounge. Very friendly people. Self-serve pump no issues. Pump ladder is too tiny even for my Cessna 182.Just be careful. Windsock needs replacement. Bring your own snacks and sodas no vending machines here. Otherwise worth stopping at a great fuel price!

Very smart facilities, very friendly people, and very cheap gas! Three perfect reasons to stop off at Reidsville!

It looks like the runway expansion and new taxiway construction is well underway. Our tax dollars at work! Good for Reidsville. Nice to find cheaper 100LL but RVJ, as a fuel stop is almost more trouble that it is worth. Our first ever stop here found the ladder is a small 2 step and almost too short to fuel a Maule. I had to stand on the very top while the wife held it steady. Then, the pump cut off after 7 gallons during fueling and the credit card had to be used again to start it back up. Really, there isn't much here but nice new pavement and a fuel pump that half works. Next time I will fly right by and pay a little more for fuel elsewhere..

Nice to know when there is a problem people respond. Received a call from the airport authority and discussed my experiences. They were genuinely concerned and took care to resolve the situation. I have stopped in since then and everything works fine now. They recognize the important role their airport plays in the community. Anyone flying close by should stop in for the best prices around. It's worth it.

I've flown in/out of KRVJ at least 3/month for almost 3 years now and have enjoyed the low priced fuel and ambience of this small town airport. The Bob Ritchie "International" terminal is all self serve with the basics of a restroom, couch, wireless Internet and multiple computers back in Room #2 I've found the pump down only once and have never found them wanting for fuel. When such does happen just step up to the terminal building and dial up one of the Reidsville Airport Authority members or better yet go down to the t-hangers and shake a hand with a local pilot and someone will be glad to lend what assistance they can. It is my understanding that they have received their funds for expansion to 5.5k feet with a new parallel taxiway making this gem of a self-serve stop even better.

Gave them benefit of the doubt and stopped in 3 different times. Bad Pumps-locked out credit cards twice, no fuel once, Not worth the effort. Risky if landing with low fuel.

The self-serve pump worked fine. Cheap fuel and a clean rest stop, but not much else here.
