I went to Executive Autopilots for a static-transponder check since Bay Avionics at OAK closed up shop. The folks at Exec AP were friendly, professional, and helpful. It was just a routine check but next time I need avionics work that is where I will go.

Excellent shop, professional work, a real standout in the avionics field. Also experts on Cessna 400-series autopilots as well as S-Tec, etc.

These guys are the BEST. Before undertaking a big GPS/Autopilot installation I researched every avionics shop within reasonable distance of my home base (KDVO), and Executive Autopilots was the one at the top of everyone’s' list. Moreover, they lived up to all that good press: a beautiful large, super- clean facility, a very professional staff with tons of experience, and owners (Ron and Carolyn Hitchcock) who are a real pleasure to do business with. My project went smoothly . . . On time and for the price agreed. No nasty surprises and a couple of pleasant ones (a few little things I didn't ask for but which, in retrospect, are obviously the right way to do it.) Everything has worked perfectly since. These folks are a credit to the whole aviation community.
