I was a happy SBFC member for several years, and can't recommend them highly enough. Great planes, great rates, great people. When we bought a plane for traveling the U.S. And Canada recently, I was happy to finally own yet also sad to leave the Club. I hope someday to rejoin if we can afford it again, because the Tiger is an absolute THRILL to fly! The SBFC website currently doesn't mention the Garmin 430 that's in the 172 now so that both planes have very similar avionics and high-end IFR capabilities. If you've been renting a plane at SBA be sure to check out the Club, because with the included insurance and fuel -rebate- it's an amazing deal on well-maintained planes.
