We flew our C-208 Caravan into SJN and stayed there because Show Low's fuel prices and overnight costs were much higher. Gary was very accommodating and loaned us a courtesy car for five nights at a reasonable cost. Rent cars are not available at SJN without a $200 delivery charge. When it was time to go we loaded up with 200 gallons of Jet fuel and flew home. We hope to return again. Thanks again Gary!

OUTSTANDING, as always! I stopped in on 6/14 for fuel on a cross from RYN to LAM. Conversation with Gary was a blast as usual... TSRA+hail at my destination, KLAM. So, hung out in the lounge and watched their flat screen TV, CAREFUL... The chairs and sofa will make you close your eyes! Need food? Gary has a Crew Car... Be nice, tip the crew car jar or fill it up as we did. We went into town and discovered awesome pizza at Paradise Pizza... She bakes incredible goodies too! Gary, thanks for yet another outstanding stop... For anyone wondering.... Just stop.. Your questions will be answered...Great FBO, great fuel prices, great service, doesn't get any better!

Fellow aviators don't miss this spot. Gary goes above and beyond. Fuel prices are SS, but Gary makes it FS. Everything about this FBO is personal, comfortable, and friendly. Stopped in yesterday (my third time to stop) for a quick break out of PHX before taking the windy beating across NM. This stop is an oasis for the poor folks traveling below 12K' across the windy high desert country.

A GREAT stop. Friendly, helpful and fair fuel prices. This is a small personal FBO, doing the right thing. It deserves your business. Give St. John's a try!

I have flown all over the Southern USA as a retired visiting Canadian. It's a joy to find a very friendly guy here who helps with the fueling and at such a great price. Also nice to be able to use one of the courtesy cars to get into town for a bite to eat. I've stopped at KSJN before and will do so again. A great little airport.

We made a quick stop during a cross-country flight after reading all the positive AirNav comments and were not disappointed -- Looking forward to another excuse to drop in to St. John's!

I've been stopping here for years and nothing has changed. Great place to stop for those of us in and out of the Los Angeles basin. Fuel is always well below market and the airport is happy to loan you a car for a run to town. Fuel is full service only and the staff is always friendly.

Flew in May 19th for the cheap fuel, bathrooms and food. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Both crew cars were already in use leaving us walking to town for food. The gentleman working there that morning offered to lend me his personal car to grab a bite without hesitation. I took him up on it and added gas/compensation for his troubles. Great staff and cheap fuel, will definitely recommend this stop to anyone!

We dodged some MASSIVE T storms in and out of here but it was well worth the stop. Didn't get a chance to see town but the airport is a great small plane stop.

Arrived at KSJN shortly after a plane crashed on takeoff, DA was 9200. The airport staff could not have been more friendly or helpful in what was a horribly stressful situation for them. Decided to RON and they helped with ground trans, food and lodging locations. KSJN is now on my list of places to stop. Before it was only a VOR turn for me. An airsick pax and precautionary fuel stop led to my landing there, what a gem it turned out to be. As the other poster noted watch the density altitude.

A word of caution regarding this airport, watch your density altitude! It often is above 9000 feet in the summer.

Great stop, cheapest gas around and a quick turn around. Have a nice selection of snacks in the FBO to purchase, which is good because there isn’t much else around.

$4.50 avgas. Wow. Friendly service, too. I'll keep this place in mind for future cross-country trips! Note: they close a 5, but the airport manager lives near the field and said he can usually take care of people after hours if they call ahead.

Easy in and out with new runway surface and a very well run FBO. Gary was at my plane almost before the engine was off. No self-service but with the lowest 100LL in AZ you just plan ahead. Very nice cross-country refueling stop.

With the cost of fuel all but shutting down GA, I am grateful for KSJN and their fuel prices. People would go there for that alone, but the service they provide is still top shelf. They are always courteous and helpful. Support them as much as you can, people.

Not much here, but the airport manager is a great guy, and the fuel is cheap. A good, quick fuel stop if you are on your way cross country.
