We have stopped twice at Big Sandy on our way to Washington DC from Fort Worth, Texas. We've gotten great service in our Cirrus SR22 both times. There is a self-service pump, but somebody is always there to fill the plane up for me. This helps with a quick turnaround. There also is a restaurant next-door to the FBO, but I haven't eaten there. It looks good though. Highly recommended.

This is a very friendly airport with good service and great gas prices. There's a restaurant on the field and lodging. A good place for a quick fill up or a destination.

Very nice well run FBO. Attendant walked out while taxiing up to the pump, and said, welcome and pointed to the FBO entrance. After refueling, we ate at the on site restaurant and afterwards FBO had my oil and it was very reasonable cost. Highly recommended this airport.
