I have been coming to Taos Airport regularly for many years, and the service is always excellent. Generally no fees for small planes for the first night or two if you buy any fuel. Recent changes include availability of 100LL from a truck, so you don't need to pull up to the pump, but the price is the same. Because of cracking asphalt, they are parking transients on the east end of the ramp, which is a longer walk, but the guys will give you a ride over. During the cold months you can get a hangar, but let them know in advance. Only really need it your last night there. A couple hotels in town have pilot discounts, check with FBO. You are about a 20-minute drive into Taos town, a little longer to the ski area. There are shuttles to the ski area. For rental cars go with Charley at Wheeler Peak Rent-a-car.

Fantastic service at Taos Aviation. Guys at Taos did everything they could to accommodate us, especially during our very cold morning departure. Great place to visit.

I've visited Taos a couple times in the past and have always received excellent service. I called today to check on crew car availability and they said they no longer have one, with the exception that sometimes the car rental provides one (no reason given for when that would happen).

Stopped at KSKX to load a camera for a LightHawk mission and buy fuel. I was met at the pump and assisted with my "self serve" purchase. Always good service and friendly folks at Taos.

Great overnight stop. Kino and his staff were very helpful. Only suggestion would be to get a 100LL fuel truck.
