Brand new RNAV to 19 with 200 ft DA for LPV users. RNAV 01 has also been redone with a lower LPV also. Don't forget to visit the Red Barn cafe across the street but beware that it only takes cash. Terminal building is closed on Sunday but self serve gas is available.

Stopped here on the way from Montgomery, AL, to Wichita Falls, TX, to wait out some bad weather. Joey was extremely friendly and helpful, and I could not have been treated better. Facilities and service were outstanding, and lots of fine improvements are being made to this airfield. I definitely recommend KSLR if you need to stop on the east side of DFW and want to stay away from congestion and pay a fair price for fuel.

I stopped in to pick up some guys, and the attendant at the FBO went above and beyond. He stayed well after closing to make sure we got everything we needed. Thanks!

Stopped in this past Friday as I had some business in Sulphur Springs. As usual, the FBO was first class and the attendant was excellent. Taxiway is being resurfaced and the runway lights are inop for the duration, so make sure you schedule arrivals/departures during daylight hours. This is a great airport in a great town.

Great stop! I flew in to look at a Legend Cub made at the field and received the royal treatment. The Legend tour was good, but meeting some of the local aviators made the stop great. Looked a recently completed experimental Super Cub that was stunning. Loaded up with fuel at pricing that left me smiling. Fun airport.
