Our second visit to SNH on 6-6-11 was as good as our first last August. Montille (the Manager) and Paul (Asst. Manager) did everything possible to accommodate us, including use of the crew car and suggesting a nearby motel (Days Inn) for our overnight stay. The facilities are excellent, as are the runway, taxiways, and ramp area. Can highly recommend this airport, and will return again when next in the area.

What a great place! Fuel prices are unbelievably low, service is unbelievably high. Montille, the airport manager, helps with everything. This is not a private owned FBO, run by the County and is a must stop for fuel or for just a beautiful fly-in over Pickwick Lake.

Headwinds necessitated stop before Memphis. Line staff was helpful and desk staff was friendly and efficient. A well run operation.

Stopped at this wonderful little airport on the way to and from GA this past week. Fuel service was awesome and the crew car was neat as can be. Food was just a couple miles down the road and was great home cooking. I would highly recommend this stop and will visit there again any time I can.

I was going to shoot a practice localizer 19 approach into KSNH from the info off the AirNav face page only to find that the approach has been decommissioned.

A true jewel among GA airports.. @K Chrastka..Why on earth would you EVER use info from AirNav for navigational purposes?? That is an accident waiting to happen and hopefully you learned your lesson!! Next time, use an updated chart and always check the NOTAMS!!

What a fantastic experience. Started out with a sort of mix-up about the rental car. I arrived at about midnight on July 14, 2010, searched high and low for the keys to the car but couldn't find them. Saw two crew cars there but alas, no keys. My last resort was to call the after hours number. Two were listed and Montille answered. She was gracious enough to come out and get the keys to the crew car for me. The next morning we got it sorted out and put the plane into a hangar. I was able to spend two days at the Shiloh National Military Park with no worries about my plane. I highly recommend stopping at Savannah-Hardin County for fuel or any extended stays in the area. The staff is fantastic and they are very accommodating. Stayed at the Days Inn and used Savannah Motors for the rental car. I'm sure that after my experience there won't be any mix-ups with the keys to the rentals. No one to blame here and it all worked out in the end. Will definitely return. Thanks!

Stopped in on 5/28 for fuel. The ladies working there were excellent. Got a quick turn and was out in 20 minutes. Very courteous and the fuel was cheap and easily accessible. Clean terminal and restrooms with computerized flight planning available. I'll be back.

I can't say enough good things about the excellent service and warm hospitality we received from Montille and Paul. The facility is extremely well kept with lots of interesting aviation art and artifacts to look at. Wireless Internet, flight planning room, and a comfortable pilot lounge with shower are available. The fuel pumps are in fixed locations, but Paul will do an extremely professional and safe job of pushing your airplane up to the pumps and fueling. Anything we asked for was offered promptly and with a smile. To top it all off - their fuel prices are about the lowest you will see anywhere! Of course, all of this should be no surprise once you see all the awards and commendations they've earned hanging on the wall. We appreciate the great service and look forward to coming back again. P.S. - if you like country cooking, take the crew car a couple minutes away to Doris' Diner for a belt-busting and very reasonably priced lunch buffet!

We flew in on May 6 and were on the ground for a couple of hours. We were treated very friendly and there was no charge for the use of their facilities. We'll be back.

I have been flying into SNH for 20 years. I have never experienced a better run airport, or more personally attentive airport staff, than at SNH. The concrete runway is superb, more like one you'd find at a major, Class B airport. Taxiways and night lighting are excellent, the fuel prices competitive. The airport manager, Montille Warren, is the type of can do person that every business dreams of as having as its chief. She simply will not allow a customer to go unsatisfied and will personally do whatever it takes to make the customer happy, from arranging ground transportation on short notice to taking it on herself to hangar the aircraft if bad weather approaches. The FBO building is modern, clean and comfortable, with all the desired flight planning resources. This one is a jewel--try it, you'll be pleased if you do.

Great job again Montille! Cold and windy Ocotber afternoon she didn't hesitate to ask if I needed fuel on my first call into the airport. Had the caps off and fueling before I had a chance to get out of the plane. Lowest 100LL price around and great FBO set up. I will stop again.

Stopped in yesterday in one of our Citations. Montille was perhaps the best "one person band" I have ever seen. So nice, and very competent. She tugged our airplane to the fuel farm, and pumped our 500 gallons with a smile on her face. Doris's Diner had the freshest fried catfish I have ever had, too. Great place to spend the day, Thanks again Montille!!

Flew into Savannah and were met by two lovely ladies that fueled our aircraft. Took the courtesy car to Pop and Mimies for some good home cooking. Great place to stop to fill your bellies and your tank!!!!
