Arrived about 10:00 a.M. To meet a client. Building was locked. There was a number to call if you needed help, but didn’t' call as we didn't need fuel. I could have used a rest room and a drink however. Would be nice if facilities were available. Doesn't appear to be much in the way of facilities anyway.

Excellent airport, with fine gentleman that provides service. I have used this airport for 30 + years, and when I landed there yesterday, I asked about the price for Avgas and was informed that the City Manager was dismayed with the money the airport loses and required that the price be set at $5.28 / gal Avgas. I flew 10 miles to Eldorado and paid $3.63. This is an unfortunate situation caused by a City Manager that has no clue.

Efficient airport refueling service, but not the most inexpensive around, nor self serve as our guide book said. And we learned that the adjacent motel restaurant shuts down from 2-5PM, after landing there hungry from Orlando Florida. Not the kind of place where they say "take MY car," although we could see a Pizza Hut across the highway, but not any place you could walk to since it's across I-10.
