I slip in and out of Black Hills Clyde Ice Airport on a frequent basis, and each time I'm there the service and down-home, friendly nature of Eagle Aviation owners Ray and Laura makes me glad I landed in Spearfish. Quality place operated by quality, good, down-to-earth South Dakotans. Truly a 5-star place!

Flew in to Spearfish the last week of June for the ShortWing Piper convention. The folks at Eagle Aviation were awesome. Delivered our rental car right to the plane and were very helpful. Definitely a place I will stop again.

Flew into Spearfish a couple of hours ago for the first time. Had called Eagle in advance to find a room and a car. We were flagged directly to the pumps, and by the time we had unpacked the car was planeside (and $30 a day cheaper through Eagle than booking direct with the car rental agency). Laura, who is fabulous, confirmed our hotel, and gave us a great tip for lunch. Couldn't be happier with the service from Eagle.

The Short Wing Piper Club had their annual meeting at Spearfish the last week of June. We planned sixty arrivals but weather reduced that number to 41. The grass runways were very nice, the staff (Thanks Alex!) was very helpful and the FBO staff, Ray and Laura were the very best. Ray was very helpful on many fronts during the event. Even the midnight crisis due to wind (gusts to 49 knots) was brought to a successful conclusion. The field where we tied down all the planes was in excellent condition. I will use this FBO again and again.

I spent a week in Spearfish with my airplane tied down in the grass at Eagle Aviation. You couldn't ask for better service. A hailstorm came up and Ray moved my airplane into the hangar. On departure day he and guys came around and helped me remove the tie downs. Ray came around every evening to check all the tiedowns.

Great place to stop. Very friendly, and gave us a car to get into town for a superb lunch. Best of all, they helped get us going when we had a minor problem with the airplane, and didn't even charge us for that. How often does that happen? This is a good place to do lunch or an overnight if you are passing through.

Spearfish is a great airport if you are spending time in the Rapid City area. Easy access to all the areas attractions including Mt Rushmore and Devil's Tower. The line staff were super supportive and friendly, and the FBO owner is very pro-GA ~ looking to expand the airport in the future. We camped on the field and it was a very pleasant experience. FBO open all night, WIFI access, and a shower to clean up in the men's room (ladies will have to have someone watch the door). Rental truck left on the field for us to pick up when we arrived.

Stopped for overnight, service was excellent. Everyone was friendly and very helpful. Ground crew was super. The rental car was on the field and ready to go. I will definitely stop the next time I get to Spearfish.

Very Nice FBO. Helpful, friendly people who all come out to help out. They volunteered hotel info and arranged transport to Holiday Inn. They have a good crew rate, but if you have a Military ID it is almost 1/2. Good stop!

Last week we were part of the Cessna Pilot's Society Great Official Get Together in Spearfish, SD. The folks at Eagle Aviation were just super to us and couldn't have been more helpful. They just HAD to feel over whelmed with all the planes and people that descended on their airfield last week but they handled it all with ease and grace. Hats off to Eagle for a great job.

3rd time I've had occasion to use Eagle at SPF. Always attentive and welcome service. Clean Clean Clean facilities couple with a can-do attitude. GA travelers have a destination FBO they can count upon to be a terrific gateway base to the wonders of South Dakota. I'll be back and staying with the folks from Eagle.

Eagle Aviation is impressive. It is not too often that the line guy’s help you hammer in your tiedown stakes when you park on the grass. Very friendly and very professional. The SPF airport itself is a gem and these folks just add to the luster.

Last week the Cessna Pilots Society held their annual gathering in Spearfish, SD. Laura & Jay at Eagle Aviation went out of their way to make sure our group was taken care of with excellent service. Everyone that I encountered had a friendly smile and was willing to do whatever was needed to accommodate us which isn't always easy with 50 planes arriving within one afternoon. It's refreshing to see an FBO care about their customers and do what it takes to make you happy. Great service, great people, what more could you ask for?

Great FBO. Served up shredded bbq for lunch on Saturday, 6-24 for our Cessna Pilots Society annual get together. Very friendly staff all week. Nearly 40 aircraft descended on them with demanding needs...All taken care of. This was my second trip to Eagle from Georgia. I would definitely return a third time.

Eagle Aviation outdid themselves during the Cessna Pilot Society get together the week of June 24th. Laura keeps the place running on all cylinders. A great place to stop!! During the week over 30 aircraft and pilots and passengers descended onto Eagle Aviation. The crew there handled it all! Good job!
