Kay was extremely hospitable. Airports run by pilots are always nice to come into. As an added bonus Kay's husband Hale is one of the last living B-26 Pilots. Pilot lounge is nice too.

I will stop here for gas anytime. Flew over from Reno to top off before heading back to Vegas. Saved enough on fuel from what KRNO was charging to pay for my hotel room.

Stopped for fuel between SLC and OAK. Nice new pumps, runway is in great shape, but nothing much out here besides a couple of hangars and what I presume is the owner's house. Can't beat the fuel price, and if you're westbound you have some time to climb before you hit the Sierras. The 6000' runway could be a little marginal on a hot day (basically every day here in the spring and summer), given the field elevation. If all you need is fuel, great stop!

Fuel stop yesterday (07/21/2010). Brand-new and easy to use self-serve fuel. $4.009 per gallon - a screaming deal. Fill er up here and save. Good practice runway. I try to avoid over flying town.

Fuel stop today (05/30/2010). Brand-new and easy to use self-serve fuel. Excellent runway and taxiway - quick in and out. There was a clean chemical toilet a short walk from the fuel island.
